Happy New Month - December 2025
This new month gives us another reason to celebrate the incredible progress we’ve made through the LEABS Leadership Project. Over the past weeks, our team has travelled across five Local Government Areas to equip and inspire the next generation of young leaders, and the impact has been remarkable.
We kicked off strong in PHALGA and Obio/Akpor, where students engaged in powerful sessions on leadership, confidence, personal growth and future transformative trends in tech. From there, the movement spread to Okrika, Eleme, and Oyigbo LGAs where our facilitators connected with hundreds of young students during the LEABS Young Leaders Conference. Each LGA brought fresh energy, honest conversations, and inspiring levels of participation.
Across all five LGAs, one thing stood out:
These students are eager to lead, learn, and build a better future for their communities.
We are grateful to Rivers State School Board and Schools that took part - 50 partner schools that opened their doors and entrusted us with their students’ development. We also celebrate our dedicated facilitators, workforce, and tireless volunteers who made each session meaningful and interactive.

As we step into this new month, we’re even more committed to empowering young leaders with the tools, mindset, and support they need to rise.
