*The Fourfold Beauty of a FAITHFUL Woman*
by: Evang Ngozi Obasi

A Faithful Woman is a Christian woman, who has the opportunity to be one of the greatest influencers on earth. The striking beauty of her spirit may win the soul of her unbelieving husband. Her adherence to God’s design in marriage can proclaim the glory of the gospel. Her faith in and knowledge of God’s word can spill over into her spheres of ministry.
However, if a woman does not know her God and his word, and if she is not clinging to its precious promises, she begins to resemble Eve, the mother of her flesh. Her heart can easily be deceived by the enemy’s craftiness, and her affections can be led astray.
We who have trusted in Christ are not only descendants of Eve, but now we are descendants of Sarah, the free woman (Galatians 4:31). We are children of promise and we are no longer in bo***ge to Eve’s nature. In 1 Peter 3:1–6 and Hebrews 11:11–12, we receive the commendation of Sarah’s faith, and we are pointed to her life as an example of biblical womanhood. As we imitate the faith of Sarah, we can leverage our God-given gender and unique gifts to glorify our God and advance his kingdom.

*1. She Hopes in God*

For this is how the holy women who hoped in God used to adorn themselves. (1 Peter 3:5)
Precious in the sight of the Lord is the heart of a Faithful Woman filled with a deep, abiding hope in her God. This is the foundation of everything God has called her to be. Sarah hoped in God, and she “considered him faithful who had promised” (Hebrews 11:11). Women should never give up the pursuit of God through his word.
“A woman who hopes in God is well acquainted with the Promiser and the specifics of his promises.”
As we give birth to families and wade into realms of ministry, many of us desire to diligently tend to those in our care. However, we are often so empty because our spiritual supply is dried up. CONTD

*COMMAND YOUR DAY DEVOTIONAL 16TH OCTOBER 2021*

*TODAY'S TOPIC:-* Change Your Focus

*TODAY'S MESSAGE*
Set your mind on things above, not on earthly things. (Colossians 3:2, NIV)

*TODAY'S MESSAGE*
We all have days when we don’t feel very enthusiastic. If you don’t feel like you have any reason to be excited about your life, today is the day to change your focus! It’s time to set your mind on things above.

Too often, we settle for what we see in this earthly realm, but God has so much more for us in the supernatural realm. Whatever we choose to focus on is what we will see manifested in our lives. We need to daily set our focus on the goodness of God and keep hope alive.

Today is not the day to give up on your dreams; it’s the day to feed your dreams. That means instead of dragging around finding every reason you can to be unhappy, your attitude should be: “I am not going to live my life defeated and depressed. I may have some obstacles in my path, but I know I have victory in my future. I know God has great things in store for me, so I’m going to get up each day anticipating the good things He has in store for me!”

*PRAYERS AND MEDITATIONS*
Father, I choose to set my mind on You. I know that Your dream for me is so much bigger than my own. Draw me close to You as I daily set my focus on You. I bless You today and always. In Jesus Name. Amen.

Good morning and welcome to another beautiful day.

God bless you and your family.

*COMMAND YOUR DAY DEVOTIONAL TUESDAY 12TH OCTOBER 2021*

*TODAY'S TOPIC:-* He Who Is Unique

*TODAY'S BIBLE VERSE*
Among the gods there is none like unto thee, O Lord; neither are there any works like unto thy works (Psalm 86:8)

*TODAY'S MESSAGE*
In his book, Tough Times Never Last, But Tough People Do!, Robert H. Schuller encourages believers to name their problem, and then ”your possibility!" He shows believers how to build a positive self-image, regardless of what their problem is. No matter how tough times get, those who know their God have the potential to achieve the best of life.In our text, David poured out his heart because he was in despair. He realised that the source of his economic poverty was his poor spiritual state and that he needed help from God. And because he had wholly given his life to the Lord, he called on Him to intervene in other areas Of his life. David also pointed out why believers must hope only in God. He confessed, ”Among the gods there is none like unto thee, O Lord; neither are there any works like unto thy works” (Psalm 86:8).

The passage reminds believers of the awesome power of God, noting that God is able to respond to prayers from sincere hearts. The Almighty never fails. Therefore, believers need to pray and commit their life challenges to Him on a daily basis.
There is no need to weep and groan in pain. Bow your knees in prayer and pour out your heart to God. He will either lift the challenge immediately or provide you with the needed grace to contend with the situation.

*TODAY'S PRAYERS AND MEDITATIONS*
Weeping only endures for a season, but joy comes there after, Dear Lord give the grace to wait for seasons of Joyfulness...

Good morning and welcome to another beautiful day.

God bless you and your family.

*COMMAND YOUR DAY DEVOTIONAL THURSDAY 7TH OCTOBER 2021*

*Today Topic:* Christ’s Peace

*TODAY’S VERSE*
“Let the peace of Christ rule in your hearts, since as members of one body you were called to peace. And be thankful.” Colossians 3:15 (NIV)

*TODAY’S THOUGHT*
I love how the peace of Christ and thankfulness go together. Ever have someone, meaning well of course, try to get you to cheer up over something you weren’t ready to thank God for? People get uncomfortable around heartache and try to make the person suffering feel better. This is well intentioned, but not always successful. Perhaps that is why Paul wrote what he did. He knew from being in prison, shipwrecked, starving, stoned, left for dead and hunted down like a criminal that it was through the peace of knowing Christ and all His love and power that he was able to come to any semblance of giving thanks. And why did it matter? Because giving thanks is the key to returning to joy from painful emotions and circumstances. It is handing over the steering wheel to someone else more capable then us to drive when we are under so much duress. And so today, come to Christ. Come to Him who is able to give you peace even when thanksgiving seems so far away. His peace will comfort. His peace will sustain. His peace will return you to joy and a thankful heart.

*TODAY’S PRAYER*
Father, it is hard to give thanks in all things. I need Your peace, that passes all understanding, to rule in my heart. Come in the power of Your Holy Spirit and fill me now, fill me where I cannot fill myself. Bring peace and love to my heart even now and with that, I give You thanks, my God and my Lord.
AMEN

Good morning & God bless you and your family.

*A WOMAN'S RIGHT AMBITION*

All of the charms and beauty a woman may have, amounts to nothing if her ambitions are self-centered. But if she reflects her creator and assumes the posture of a graceful servant, she cannot not help but command high respect and favor

*TODAY’S VERSE*
“My help comes from the LORD, who made heaven and earth! He will not let you stumble; the one who watches over you will not slumber… The LORD keeps you from all harm and watches over your life...” Psalms 121:2, 3, 7, 8 (NLT)

TODAY’S THOUGHT
I once saw a child crying hysterically, afraid that he was abandoned by his father in a large crowd of people. I remember thinking how odd, because his father was standing right next to him. Something had frightened the son and in his despair, he closed his eyes. As he cried, with his eyes shut, he was not aware of his father’s presence. It was not until the father picked the child up that he opened his eyes and returned to joy. How often are we like that little child? Something frightens us. It could be a confrontation, an anxious thought or worst, some dread of things to come. When our mind gets in that state, faith seems to go out the window. It is as if we stepped out of the presence of God, when in reality what we did was shut our eyes. The Psalmist decided to go into his day with eyes wide open.

*TODAY’S PRAYER*
Father, make me conscious of Your presence so I will put my faith in Your precious promises. The promise that You will watch over me and protect me. The promise that You will keep me from harm. Help me today, to put my full trust in You and open my eyes to Your power and love.
AMEN

Good morning & God bless you and your family.
