🏗️ HIGHLIGHTS | Things got really heated, in the best way, during our recent 3D Geometric Net-Building & Architecture Challenge at Olivet Baptist High School in Oyo, Nigeria!

As part of our workshop exploring geometry, design thinking, and real-world problem-solving, students transformed 2D geometric nets into impressive 3D structures, discovering how mathematics forms the foundation of architecture, engineering, and the built environment.

The room was buzzing with teamwork, creativity, and healthy competition as participants put their ideas to the test, proving that learning can be both practical and exciting.

🚀 Workshop Highlight | Kimara Kutwa Secondary School, Tanzania

The girls in the Joule Foundation Club at Kimara Kutwa Secondary School in 🇹🇿 explored the distance between planets, discovering that space is far more vast than it appears in textbooks.

By understanding the scale of our solar system, the girls develop critical thinking, curiosity, and a deeper appreciation of the science that helps us make sense of the universe.

🚀 WATCH: Did you know that light from the Sun takes about 8 minutes and 20 seconds to reach Earth, but it takes more than 4 hours to reach Neptune?

Understanding the vast distances between planets helps students appreciate the true scale of our solar system while strengthening critical thinking, mathematics, and scientific inquiry.

That was the adventure for learners at Kimara Kutwa Secondary School in Tanzania during a recent hands-on workshop exploring the wonders of space.

A huge thank you to our Director of Engagement, Cecy, and her incredible team for facilitating an engaging session that sparked curiosity, inspired discovery, and brought STEM learning to life. 🌍🔭
