🌀 _TASU'A & ASHURA: KEY QUESTIONS EVERY MUSLIM SHOULD KNOW_

1. *What are Tasu'a and Ashura, and when do they fall?*
Tasu'a is 9th Muharram, Ashura is 10th Muharram. Both are significant days in the Islamic calendar. _Muslim 1134_

2. *Why did the Prophet ﷺ encourage fasting on Ashura?*
He encouraged it because Allah saved Prophet Musa (AS) and Bani Isra'il from Pharaoh on that day. _Bukhari 2004_

3. *What event is Ashura remembered for?*
The rescue of Prophet Musa (AS) and his people from Pharaoh and his army. _Bukhari 2004_

4. *What reward is there for fasting Ashura?*
The Prophet ﷺ said fasting Ashura expiates the sins of the previous year. _Muslim 1162_

5. *Why did the Prophet ﷺ plan to fast the 9th as well?*
To be different from the Jews, who fasted only on the 10th. _Muslim 1134_

6. *Why fast both Tasu'a and Ashura?*
It follows the Sunnah and distinguishes Muslim practice from others. _Muslim 1134_

7. *How did Ashura fasting change after Ramadan?*
Before Ramadan, it was strongly emphasized. After Ramadan became obligatory, Ashura fasting became voluntary/Sunnah. _Bukhari 2001_

8. *What are the recommended ways to fast?*
Fast the 9th + 10th, the 10th + 11th, or all three: 9th, 10th, 11th. _Muslim 1134_

9. *What lessons does Ashura teach us?*
Patience, trust in Allah, gratitude, and standing firm on truth. _Bukhari 2004_

10. *How can we make the most of Tasu'a & Ashura?*
Fast, make du'a, read Qur'an, do dhikr, and increase good deeds. _Muslim 1162_

11. *Why distinguish our Ashura observance from others?*
To maintain our Islamic identity while following the Prophet’s ﷺ guidance. _Muslim 1134_

2026/1447AH AL AMEER ISLAMIC FOUNDATION RAMADAN FEEDING PACKAGES

Ramadan is a sacred month of mercy, compassion, sacrifice, and generosity. In the spirit of sharing and caring for humanity, the Al Ameer Islamic Foundation successfully organized the 2025/1447AH Ramadan Feeding Programme aimed at supporting vulnerable families, widows, orphans, the elderly, and less privileged members of the community with essential food packages during the blessed month of Ramadan.

The Ramadan Feeding Packages were carefully prepared and distributed to ensure that beneficiaries could observe the holy month with dignity, comfort, and gratitude. The packages contained essential food items needed for Suhoor and Iftar, helping families reduce the burden of feeding during this spiritually significant period.

This humanitarian initiative reflects the Foundation’s unwavering commitment to Islamic values of charity (Sadaqah), compassion, unity, and community development. Through the generous contributions of donors and the tireless efforts of volunteers, organizers, and management, countless homes were touched with love and hope.

The Foundation recognizes that acts of kindness during Ramadan carry immense rewards from Almighty Allah, and every contribution made toward this programme serves as a source of blessings both in this world and in the Hereafter.

May Almighty Allah (SWT) abundantly reward the Founder, Directors, Organizers, Volunteers, and all Donors of Al Ameer Islamic Foundation for their sincerity, generosity, and dedication toward serving humanity.
May Allah accept all their sacrifices as acts of Ibadah, forgive their shortcomings, and multiply their rewards beyond measure. May He continue to strengthen the Foundation, increase it in wisdom, resources, unity, and impact, and make it a continuous source of benefit to the Ummah.

فضلُ القرآنِ الكريمِ عظيمٌ، فهو كلامُ اللهِ تعالى، ومصدرُ الهدايةِ والنورِ للبشرية، أنزله اللهُ ليُخرجَ الناسَ من الظلماتِ إلى النور، ويهديهم إلى الصراطِ المستقيم. تلاوتُه عبادةٌ يُؤجَرُ عليها المسلم، والعملُ به سببٌ للفوزِ في الدنيا والآخرة. كما أن القرآنَ الكريمَ يُنقّي القلوب، ويُزكّي النفوس، ويمنحُ الطمأنينةَ والسكينة.

_*In today’s world, it has become common for some people to quickly suspect others based on appearance, wealth, or possessions—such as owning a laptop, iPhone, or expensive car. Some are even wrongly labeled as dishonest or involved in immoral activities without clear proof. As Muslims, this attitude is dangerous and contradicts the teachings of Islam.*_

_*Islam teaches us to avoid suspicion, backbiting, and judging others without evidence. A true believer is careful with his tongue and thoughts about other Muslims.*_

_*As Muslims, we should:*_

_*✨ Think good of others (husn al-dhann)*_
_*✨ Avoid spreading rumors*_
_*✨ Refrain from judging without evidence*_
_*✨ Focus on our own accountability before Allah*_

In Islam, righteous acts (often called good deeds) are actions that are pleasing to Allah and done with sincere intention. They include both acts of worship and good behavior toward others.

A righteous act must have:
1. Sincerity (Ikhlāṣ): done for Allah alone
2. Correctness: done according to Islamic teachings

Righteous Acts
A. Acts of worship
These are direct عبادات (acts of worship), such as:
1. Performing the five daily prayers (Ṣalāh)
2. Fasting during Ramadan (Ṣawm)
3.Giving charity (Zakāh and Ṣadaqah)
4.Performing pilgrimage (Ḥajj)
5. Reciting and following the Qur’an

B. Good character and behavior
Islam strongly emphasizes how you treat others:
1. Being honest and truthful
2. Respecting parents
3. Helping the poor and needy
4. Forgiving others
5. Keeping promises

C. Everyday good deeds
Even simple actions count if done sincerely:
1. Smiling at others
2. Removing harm from the road
3. Speaking kindly
4. Feeding someone

Position Of Righteous Acts
1. They bring you closer to Allah
2. They earn rewards (thawāb)
3. They help in the Hereafter (Day of Judgment)
4. They improve society and relationships

Righteous acts in Islam are anything good you do sincerely for Allah, whether it is worship or kindness to people.

HEART WITHOUT THE QUR’AN☪️

A heart without the Qur’an is like a body without a soul — restless, empty, and searching. But when the Qur’an enters the heart, it brings light, peace, and true guidance.

Whoever studies the Qur’an with a sincere intention of seeking guidance will surely be guided — this is a promise from Allah.

_Allah subhānahu wata'ala says:_

_وَالَّذِينَ جَاهَدُوا فِينَا لَنَهْدِيَنَّهُمْ سُبُلَنَا وَإِنَّ اللَّهَ لَمَعَ الْمُحْسِنِينَ_

_And those who strive for Us (Allah) We will surely guide them to Our ways. And indeed, Allah is with the doers of good._

_(Quran chapter 29, verse 69... Suratul Ankaboot)_

So let us return to the Qur’an daily even if it is just a few verses and allow it to heal our hearts, shape our lives, and bring us closer to Allah.

May Allah subhānahu wata'ala remove the love of music from our hearts and replace it with the love of the Qur’an...Aameen🤲
