Child Ink Africa is a Non-Governmental Organization (NGO) and Non-Profit Making Organization that is working towards bringing children back to the inks. The Organization through her various programmes encourages children with writing, drawing and painting skills to do what they love by providing them with platforms and materials for that. tistes to the world by publishing their works on platforms where people can see, appreciate, critic and even buy them. This will go a long way in boosting the moral of these young ones whom on an ordinary day might not want to share their work with the world. With a team of writers and painters with professional trainings, Child Ink Africa will not only give the children writing materials and platforms to exhibit their talents, the organization will also train them on how to manage their skills, and turn it into profit making ventures. Needs Statement:
Many are calling for a change in our reading culture, yet we forget that without writers, there will be nothing to read. Gone are the days of the genuinly born writers who blazed the trail of Africa, as today, we only have most of our writers as people who found themselves in a position where they can sale books. There is need to fish out people with the gift while they are still young. Children will want to get back to the books if they realize they were written by their mates in school and friends in their neighbourhood. This can help, we believe that from writing, we can bring people back to reading. Child Ink Africa will also groom children who can draw and paint by offering them the opportunity to work with materials they could have gotten close to in their university days and by this, we will not only create a new generation of artistes, but are a generation of artistes who sleep, wake up and think of nothing but drawing and painting.
