In a bid to support community based health system in Esan North East, LGA Uromi, a grassroots development organization, Uromi Likes mind Initiative (ULMI) organized three days community based health strengthening initiative at Idumu -Eigbiremolen, ikeken Amediokhian and Eko- Aziba, Ivue.
The outreach started on Thursday 6th November to Saturday 8th November 2025. Ofure Centre for Peace and Development (OCPD) was contracted as the consultant to the implementation of the project. This was the 5th edition of the free medical outreach. We have covered 31 communities in Uromi alone.

OCPD engaging students of Government Technical Collage Ahoada, Rivers State in a sensitization outreach and channel of reporting of Gender Base Violence (GBV).
The concept, forms and examples of Gender Base Violence was explained to the students and they were encouraged to speak out to the LGA, case manager, parents and other care givers. A helpline was also given out to the students or rescue missions.
