IMO CITIZEN WATCH (ICW) is an integrity platform, working on Good governace in Imo State. The platform will be holding our leaders in the state ranging from councilors, LGA chairmen, house member both state and federal to the governor accountable and push for transparency in governance. Through the platform, citizens will be sensitized/educated and empowered to engage our leaders and ask questions
on issues regarding our collective wellbeing. It will be spread across the 27 Local Government Area of the state. ICW was formed in 2018 prior to 2019 General Election. It was used to sensitize people on why they need to vote wise and avoid been used by politician to commit violence. Afterwards ICW has been following up on government activities in the state a bit to hold government accountable. it is geared toward accountability, good governance and citizens participations in governance.. Imo Citizens Watch will also be monitoring and tracking state and constituency projects. Imo Citizens Watch is working on institutionalizing transparency and accountability in governance with zero tolerance to corruption.
