REPORT ON THE SUCCESSFUL NAOS FREE HEALTH OUTREACH FOR THE ELDERLY
The National Association of Otan Ayegbaju Students (NAOS), National Body, successfully organized and conducted a Free Medical Outreach Programme for Elderly People in Otan Ayegbaju on Friday, 26th December, 2025, at Ile Oke Hall, Otan Ayegbaju.
The programme recorded a remarkable and impressive turnout of elderly members of the community, demonstrating the relevance and need for such an initiative. The outreach was carefully planned and well-coordinated, with a clear focus on improving the health and overall well-being of senior citizens within the community.
Beneficiaries received various free healthcare services, including general medical consultations, blood pressure checks, random blood sugar (RBS) tests, basic health screenings, health education and counseling, and the distribution of prescribed medications where necessary. The exercise was carried out with a high level of professionalism, empathy, and dedication by the medical team and volunteers.
NAOS profoundly appreciates the healthcare professionals who selflessly offered their expertise and the volunteers who devoted their time and energy to ensure the smooth ex*****on of the outreach. Their commitment and humanitarian spirit played a vital role in delivering quality healthcare services to the elderly.
We also extend our sincere gratitude to all financial and material supporters, stakeholders, and well-meaning individuals whose contributions made the outreach a success. Their support significantly enhanced the effectiveness and overall impact of the programme.
