Today is World Red Cross and Red Crescent Day.

Across the world, volunteers and staff from the Red Cross and Red Crescent Movement show up every day for people in crisis, responding in their own communities, helping neighbours, supporting families, and standing on the frontlines of emergencies that affect them too.

Because beyond every emergency, every response, and every emblem, there is one truth: we are United in Humanity.

United for Humanity ❤️

Today, we celebrate 163 years of humanity, compassion, and selfless service as we mark World Red Cross Day 2026. Guided by the vision of Henry Dunant, we continue to stand with vulnerable communities, bringing hope, support, and dignity where it is needed most.

Together as volunteers, staff, and partners, we remain committed to one mission — serving humanity above all else.

Happy World Red Cross Day!
