CHILDREN ARE NOT CONTENT. VULNERABILITY IS NOT A BUSINESS.

This is a public appeal to
Please desist from involving children and emotionally vulnerable young people in online narratives for clicks, relevance, or monetization.

Over the years, Nigerians have repeatedly raised concerns about a pattern where minors or vulnerable individuals become central to online commentary, speculation, and prolonged public scrutiny. Whether intentional or not, the impact on young minds and mental health is real and damaging.

Children cannot consent to internet permanence.
Teenagers cannot defend themselves against viral narratives.
Vulnerable young people should never be turned into content arcs.

From past controversies to the most recent situation involving Aanu, one truth remains: exposure without protection can cause lifelong harm. The internet never forgets but children grow, heal, and deserve privacy.

This is not about silencing anyone.
It is about ethical boundaries.
It is about duty of care.
It is about choosing humanity over virality.

If your platform is powerful, then your responsibility is greater.
If your voice is loud, then your restraint must be louder.

Let children be children.
Let vulnerable people heal offline.
Stop turning real lives into online spectacles.

Nigeria must do better.
Content creators must do better.
Adults must protect children always.

STOP PROFITING FROM SOMEONE’S PAIN

Aanu is a human being. Not content. Not clout. Not a cash cow.

No matter where anyone stands on the Davido and Aanu narrative, one thing must be clear: mental health is not entertainment. Dragging a young woman’s emotional struggles into endless commentary, speculation, and monetized content is dangerous and deeply irresponsible.

, this has gone beyond analysis or commentary. Repeatedly revisiting Aanu’s personal life, emotional state, and trauma while gaining attention, views, and money from it raises serious ethical questions. Someone’s mental health should never be a business model.

is a global star and will be fine.
Aanu is not a brand, she is vulnerable, human, and deserves dignity.

Let’s be honest:
Online harassment worsens mental health.
Public shaming can push people to breaking points.
Silence, space, and support save lives.

This is a call for restraint, empathy, and accountability.
We can discuss public issues without destroying private lives.
We can seek truth without exploiting pain.

To everyone watching, sharing, and commenting: pause.
Ask yourself ,are you helping, or are you harming?

Protect mental health.
Stop the exploitation.
Let Aanu heal in peace.

“A Week to My Wedding, a Family Secret Destroyed Everything: I’m Pregnant for My Mother’s Stepson, What Do I Do?"

Aunty Ajoke, please I need sincere advice. My heart is heavy and my life feels like it has collapsed overnight.

My name is Bola. I am from Ilorin, but I live in Lagos. I lost my mother a long time ago, when I was still very young. Before she passed, she had another daughter my younger sister but we have the same mother and different fathers.

Growing up, my life was divided. I stayed with my father in Ilorin, while my mother and my younger sister lived with her husbandmy stepfather in Ekiti. My father never allowed me to visit my mother or my sister, so we grew up separated, with little or no relationship. Life moved on, and everyone lived in their own world.

Years later, while living in Lagos, I met the man I fell in love with. He was kind, responsible, and treated me with respect. Our relationship grew, and eventually, he proposed. I happily informed my father’s family in Ilorin, and we did our introduction properly with them. Along the line, I became pregnant, and a wedding date was fixed. My joy was full. I truly believed my life had finally fallen into place.

But fate had other plans.

Exactly one week to my wedding, my younger sister suddenly came around. This was someone I hardly knew, someone life had kept far away from me for years. When she saw my fiancé, her face changed. She looked shocked… confused… almost frightened.

She asked me, “Who is this man?”

Smiling, I replied, “He’s my husband to be.”

What she said next shattered my world.

She told me that the man I was about to marry was her elder brother from Ekiti—same father, different mother. That meant my fiancé was my mother’s stepson.

I couldn’t breathe.

I couldn’t think.

I couldn’t understand how life could be this cruel.

Without knowing, without intention, without any relationship growing up together, I had fallen in love with mand gotten pregnant for my mother’s stepson.

Chaos followed immediately.

My younger sister, along with some family members, insisted that the wedding must be cancelled immediately and that we must separate completely. They said it was wrong, unacceptable, and impossible to continue.

But here is my pain…

I am already pregnant.
I love him.
We did not know.
We did not grow up as siblings.
And now everything is falling apart.

Aunty Ajoke, what should I do?
How do I handle this shame, this shock, this pregnancy, and this heartbreak?
Please advise me 🙏

Never be scared to bring that idea to life.

I know the feeling of wanting to do everything at once, but fear does not even allow you to start one.

Confusion sets in, and as if that is not enough, new ideas keep coming, yet none comes to reality.

This cycle continues year after year, and before you know it, you feel tired, stuck, and tempted to give up.

But see, in 2026, focus on one thing and bring it to life.

I know it is not easy, but sometimes you have to be hard on yourself.

Nothing good comes on a silver platter. You have to work for it.

Fear?

It does not exist.

It is just an illusion. An imagination.

People’s opinions?

No one really cares what you do with your life.

Everyone is busy handling their own battles.

Let go.
Start.
And make 2026 count for us.

15/12/2025

Today, choose yourself.

Choose growth over fear, peace over pressure, and courage over silence.

You have come too far to stop now.

Take one step, no matter how small and trust that it counts.

You matter. Always.

It really saddens my heart when I see women, especially those with children, going through difficult times simply because we are not financially stable.

It hurts because I know how heavy that burden feels, and sometimes there is very little one can do to change another person’s situation.

But the truth is this: you may not be able to help everybody, but you can educate everybody.

And that is why my focus is to educate women on how to build financial stability, so they do not have to depend entirely on their spouse or their family for every little thing.

So today I want to ask you—how is your financial situation?

Are you open to learning?

Are you willing to educate yourself?

There are so many opportunities around us, and sometimes all you need is to look closely and discover what works for you.

And if you have tried different things and you still feel stuck, remember that guidance is available.

Feel free to reach out through the comments or send a DM.

We will be glad to guide you on your next steps.

To the one who is tired, read this slowly.

Dear woman, I can see you. I can see the confusion, the tiredness, the silent questions in your heart. I can see how you are trying, yet it feels like nothing is moving. You wake up every day hoping today will be different, yet it still feels heavy. You are wondering if all this effort is worth it. You are wondering if your time will ever come.

Take a deep breath.

No situation stays forever. Just like the way day slowly turns to night, and night patiently turns to morning, your life also has seasons. Darkness does not last. Silence does not last. Delay does not mean denial.

Maybe today looks hard. Maybe your energy is low. Maybe your heart is tired. It is alright to feel that way. You are human. You are allowed to pause. You are allowed to breathe. What you are not allowed to do is give up on yourself.

You have come a long way. You have survived days you never thought you would. You have held yourself in moments nobody knew about. That strength is something you should not overlook.

Your morning will come. Your turn will come. Your light will show.

So rise again, even if slowly. Move again, even if gently. Hope again, even if quietly.

It might take a while, yes. However, it will never take forever.

You are closer than you think.

Dear woman,

Sometimes we want to grow, yet we hesitate when it comes to paying to learn a skill.

We say we will figure it out on our own, we will watch free videos, or we will ask someone to teach us for free.

Then months pass, and there is no progress.

I have learned something.

When you pay to learn, you take it seriously.

You respect your time.

You show up. You practice. You do not joke with what you paid for.

Free learning is good, but paid learning gives direction and results.

A skill you learn today can feed you tomorrow.

It can open doors that your background could not open.

It can make you stand on your own without depending on anyone.

If there is a skill you have been thinking about, start small.

Pay something.

Even if it is basic.

Do not wait for the perfect moment.

Your skill is your security in this life.

It is something no one can take away from you.

Dear woman, anything that is worth doing is worth doing perfectly.

Do not rush your process, and do not let distractions steal your focus.

Give your best effort, even when no one is watching.

Your future will thank you.

Know who you allow in your space...

Dear woman, I want us to reflect on something very important today.

There are people in this world who will constantly make you feel small — not because you are small, but because they are afraid of the person you are becoming.

They speak in a way that makes you doubt yourself. They act in a way that makes you question your worth. They intentionally or unintentionally pull you backward when you are trying to grow.

It could be anyone — a friend, a colleague, or even someone in your family.

I need you to understand something: the moment you notice that being around certain people drains your confidence, reduces your belief in your own abilities, or makes you feel undeserving of good things, that is your sign.

Protect your space. Protect your mind.

Avoiding such people does not mean you hate them.

It simply means you value your growth.

And if the person is someone close to you, someone you cannot just walk away from, then learn how to limit access to your emotional space.

Create distance — mentally, emotionally, and sometimes physically. Your peace is your responsibility.

Many dreams have died not because the person lacked the talent, but because they were surrounded by voices that made them feel unworthy of those dreams.

Do not let that be your story.

You are capable.

But you need to be in an environment that allows you to see it

This is reality. Guard your mind. Guard your journey. And continue becoming who you are meant to be.
