On the 20th of June, 2025, I had the honour of being recognized by the Osun State University Medical Students Association as the Male Entrepreneur of the Year and that moment didn’t just make my year, it stirred something deeper.

It took me back to where it all began five years ago, 100 Level, second semester selling ponmó (cowskin) with nothing but courage, hope, and the support of amazing friends like Gracewind. From UNIOSUN Ponmó Market to DrChef Community, the journey has been wild, humbling, and grace-filled.

This award reminded me that every small beginning matters. I’m proud of the road walked, grateful for the growth, and motivated for the future I’m yet to see. I dedicate this to my younger self who started scared but started anyway, my family, and the ever-flourishing DrChef Community 💙🧡.

We keep going. The story is still being written.

We closed the year not just with sales, but with smiles, laughter, and little hands full of joy. Celebrating our end-of-year closure with kids around reminded us of why we started to serve, to spread warmth, and to build a community that feels like home.

From humble beginnings to where we are now, it’s been God all the way. His grace carried us through exams, storms, sleepless nights, and celebrations.
