Felicitation on Appointments
1. The leadership and members of Oron Federal Constituency Media Professionals (OFCOMPRO) extend warm congratulations to the Federal and State Government appointees from Oro Nation on their recent meritorious appointments into diverse leadership positions.
2. We express gratitude to His Excellency, President Bola Ahmed Tinubu GCFR and His Excellency Governor Umo Eno for their magnanimity in appointing our illustrious sons and daughters into various positions of government.
3. Beyond the entitlement of Oro people to governmental benefits, we view these appointments as a generous gesture and a demonstration of a commendable reward system, fostering inclusivity and encouragement.
4. In a special acknowledgment, we appreciate the benevolence of Senate President, Sen. Godswill Akpabio CON for extending the olive branch of his office to appoint some of our brothers as his Legislative Aides. This gesture is deeply appreciated, and we thank him sincerely.
5. The appointment of Rt. Hon. Sir Victor Antai as Executive Director of Projects NDDC is particularly noteworthy, transcending party lines due to his friendly disposition, support to grassroots people, and proven capacity to deliver to the satisfaction of all.
6. Chief Chris Abasieyo, Rt. Hon. Alice Ekpenyong, Rt. Hon. Felicia Bassey, Rt. Hon. Archibong Asuquo, and Rt. Hon. Effiong Bassey, appointed as Honourary Special Advises, are individuals of proven integrity and capacity, and their recent appointments serve as a recognition of their commendable contributions.
7. We are particularly grateful for the opportunity provided to some of our youth to explore the political landscape and grow in their chosen careers. Notable appointments include Ulap Godswill Ekpenyong, Comrade Sam Osung, and Comrade Hillary Owowo at the state level, and Rt Hon Alex Nyong, Barr Effiong Oboho, John Atai Esq (Zeagamex John) and others at the federal level.
8. These talented professionals represent a new breed, and we trust they will leverage their wealth of experiences to promote the RENEWED HOPE and ARISE AGENDA mantra in the grassroots, creating a positive multiplier effect on the economy of their respective constituencies.
9. We are sincerely grateful to our Grand Patroness the Deputy Governor HE Senator Akon Eyakenyi for helping to facilitate these appointments and we pray God to bless her.
10. We offer our prayers that God continues to guide and provide the appointed individuals with the spiritual assistance and physical strength necessary to navigate the challenges associated with their new offices.
