BACKGROUND. The Nigeria history dated back to the colonial era leave much to be desired as a people. The desired for a better Nigeria is at rapid, which prompt nationalist leaders to develop a better understanding to liberate the country from colonial masters and set a pace for the development of our country. In the famous words of John F. Kennedy (1961) opined that "Ask not what your country can do for you, ask what you can do for your country". It's not news that our societies wallow in abject poverty, there is a great concerned to think about the increasing rate of poverty and hunger in our prismatic Africa societies. It is estimated that 60% of Nigeria population are the youths and a great number of youths turn out from higher learning every year without available jobs for them. Youths development and empowerment is one aspect which has faced the most neglect. With an estimate of sixty percent of youths unemployed and underemployed, the societies is now cause with insecurities, banditry, kidnappings, arms robbery and others vices. The concerned youths for sustainable development initiative was inspired by this sad situation. In order to address these issues, the cysd initiative was formed by three vibrate youths who has requisite experience on community development and the group act as a volunteers for SDGs goal initiative. The Cysd groups is set to collaborate with stakeholders and others organizations in order to achieve the SDGs goals by the year 2030 as set forth by the United Nations.
