Oko-Jaja PRAYS

Oko-Jaja PRAYS Oko-Jaja Prays is Redemptive/ intercessory project of Oko-Jaja War Canoe House of Opobo Kingdom, Rivers State, Nigeria.

Oko-Jaja Prays is a Redemptive/ Intercessory Project of Oko-Jaja War Canoe House of Opobo Kingdom which was initiated in 2006 by the Elders of the House in collaboration with Oko-Jaja Prayer Fellowship. This spiritual project has transformed the ancestral foundation of this ancient component House of Opobo Kingdom and impacted graciously on the lives and destinies of members. Since its inception (

in January 2006), it has become a hallmark of events in the House. In November 2011, the elders and people of Oko-Jaja House took a bold step to re-dedicate and surrender the House to the Almighty God by denouncing and destroying all idols and shrines instituted by her ancestors over a hundred years ago. On the 2nd of January every year elders and members of the House meet - in an open-air prayer service - to re-enact their covenant with God. God has through this annual re-enactment broken age-long bo***ge and satanic yoke and demonstrated His manifold goodness to the House in many other ways - He would not stop until the last of Oko-Jajas is redeemed and lifted from the shackle of defeat.
