Dear youths,

As you step into this new week, I declare that you are blessed beyond your imagination, in Jesus name. Amen.

You will be favoured among your peers and receive opportunities beyond your expectations.

I declare that your efforts will not be wasted. This week, you will excel, make meaningful progress, and encounter opportunities that will take you to greater heights.

May your brand, talents, and efforts receive greater visibility. May doors of opportunity open for you, and may great things happen in your life.

Above all, may God come through for you in ways that only He can.

Have a blessed and productive week.
In Jesus name, Amen.

Happy new week 🌹🌺

One of the fastest ways to lose joy is to keep measuring your life against someone else's.

Their promotion becomes your disappointment.

Their engagement becomes your frustration.

Their success becomes evidence that you're "behind."

But have you noticed something?

The more you watch other people's journeys, the less attention you give to your own.

You weren't created to live someone else's story.

God gave you your own gifts, your own pace, and your own assignment.

So today, instead of asking, "Why is their life moving faster than mine?"

Ask,

"What can I do today to become better than I was yesterday?"

Your biggest competition isn't the person on your timeline.

It's the person you were yesterday.

Run your race with confidence.

Become a better you daily.

Happy new week and have an amazing week ahead.

HAPPY NEW MONTH!

Every day, we are exposed to people celebrating promotions, businesses, graduations, relationships, and major life milestones. While it's good to celebrate others, it becomes dangerous when their journey becomes the standard by which we measure our own.

This month in The Thriving Youths Community (TYC), we are having an honest conversation around our theme:

"Overcoming Comparison."

Comparison quietly steals confidence, creates unnecessary pressure, and makes many young people overlook the progress they are making. The truth is, everyone has a different journey, different timing, and a different assignment.

This August, we are choosing to shift our focus.

We will learn to appreciate our journey, celebrate our growth, develop healthy self-worth, and become intentional about pursuing purpose instead of competing with people.

Don't spend your energy trying to keep up with someone else's timeline. Invest it in becoming the person you were created to be.

Throughout this month, expect practical teachings, thought-provoking conversations, growth challenges, and a supportive community that will help you break free from comparison and build genuine confidence.

This month, remember:

Your journey is valid.

Your progress matters.

Your value is not determined by someone else's success.

Your race is unique.

Choose purpose over pressure. Choose growth over comparison. Choose to become a better you.

Welcome to August, a month of confidence, purpose, and intentional growth.

Every day, we scroll through social media and see people announcing new jobs, engagements, scholarships, business wins, and milestones.

We celebrate them and we should.

But what we often don't see are the years of rejection, the moments of self-doubt, the tears, the failures, the waiting seasons, and the quiet battles that happened long before the celebration.

That's why comparison has become one of the biggest struggles among young people today.

I have spoken with young people who genuinely believe they're failing in life, not because they're doing badly, but because they're measuring their reality against someone else's carefully selected moments.

The truth is, social media shows highlights, not the whole story.

Your worth is not determined by your followers, your value is not measured by likes, your journey doesn't become less meaningful because someone else reached a milestone before you.

This conversation has been on my heart for a long time, and I'm excited that we're finally having it.

On 12th August, we'll be having an honest conversation about success, social media, and self-worth.

No pressure to pretend, no unrealistic success stories, just practical, honest conversations that will help you see yourself differently and embrace your own journey.

If you've ever questioned your pace in life, If comparison has ever stolen your confidence or if you ha've ever wondered whether you're enough.

This conversation is for you.

A while ago, I had a conversation with a young person who said something I've heard many times before:

"I feel like everyone is moving ahead, and I'm just there."

So I asked a simple question:

"Compared to who?"

There was silence.

After a few moments, the person mentioned friends who had gotten jobs, started businesses, traveled abroad, and seemed to be doing well.

Then I asked another question:

"Do you know the full story behind their journey, or are you comparing your reality to their highlights?"

That question changed the conversation.

One of the biggest traps young people fall into today is measuring their progress against people's public victories while ignoring their private struggles.

Growth is personal.

Someone else's timeline is not your deadline.
Someone else's success is not proof that you're failing.

The only comparison that truly matters is this:

Are you becoming better than the person you were yesterday?

Don't let comparison steal the joy of your own journey.

Become a better you daily.

When someone reaches out to me for guidance, I don't begin by giving advice.

I begin by asking questions.

Why?

Because the quality of your answers often determines the quality of your growth.

Below are three questions I believe every young person should answer honestly:

1. Who are you becoming?
Not, "What job do you want?" but "What kind of person are you intentionally becoming?"

2. What problem are you preparing yourself to solve?
Opportunities follow people who solve meaningful problems.

3. What are you doing today that supports the future you keep talking about?
Your daily habits reveal your true priorities.

These questions may seem simple, but they have helped many young people identify blind spots in their lives.

Take a few minutes today and write your answers in a journal.

If one of these questions is difficult for you to answer, don't ignore it.

It may be pointing to the next area of your growth.

Become a better you daily.

One of the words young people use too casually today is "lazy."

"I've been lazy."
"I'm just lazy."
"I don't know what's wrong with me."

But after speaking with many young people, I have realized that laziness is not always the real problem.

Sometimes, the problem is mental overload.

You have too many goals.
Too many unfinished courses.
Too many expectations.
Too many people telling you what you should become.

When your mind is carrying too much, even simple tasks begin to feel difficult.

Below is a question I usually ask:

"If you could only focus on one important goal for the next 30 days, what would it be?"

Notice how your mind becomes calmer when there's clarity.

You don't have to fix your entire life today.

Start with one priority.
Give it your best.
Then move to the next.

Growth becomes easier when your focus becomes narrowed to a certain goal.

Become a better you daily.

When people think about success, they often imagine one big opportunity that changes everything.

But that's rarely how transformation happens.

Your future is built in the ordinary moments.

It's built when you choose to read instead of endlessly scrolling through your phone.
It's built when you show up even when no one is watching.
It's built when you keep your word, manage your money wisely, and stay committed to your goals.

The little things may not look impressive today, but they become the foundation of an extraordinary life tomorrow.

Don't underestimate the power of small, consistent actions.

Today is another opportunity to make choices that your future self will thank you for.

Remember, greatness is not an event. It is a habit.

Become a better you daily.

Happy New Week and have a productive week ahead.

WHO ARE YOU BECOMING?

‎ Every day, life is shaping you.

‎Your decisions, your relationships, your habits, your mindset, your walk with God.

‎The question is, are they shaping you into the person you were created to be?

‎At some point, every young person must pause and ask, "Am I becoming better, or am I just getting older?"

‎That question is the reason we're hosting BECOMING—a transformational panel discussion designed to equip young people with practical wisdom on health, personal growth, relationships, and navigating life's journey with God.

‎If you've been praying for clarity, seeking direction, or simply determined to become a better version of yourself, this conversation is for you.
