TOPIC: WISDOM FOR OWNING THE FUTURE –PART 88
TEXT:PROVERBS 24:3 "Through wisdom is an house builded; and by understanding it is established."

Yesterday, we started exploring the Wisdom of Developing a Healed Perspective. We saw that Perspective is not just what you see, it’s how you see.
Think of a cracked camera lens; it can still take pictures and nothing is wrong with the images to be shot, but every image taken with that lens comes out broken. Until the lens is replaced, it will keep producing distorted images. That’s how many people live; seeing life through a broken lens, judging their outcome based on their broken lens.

In Mark 8, Jesus touched a blind man and his eyes began to open. But notice what he said: “I see men as trees, walking.” He was not blind anymore, but he wasn’t seeing right either. He saw men, but as walking trees; his perspective was distorted.

The children of Israel in Numbers 13:33 saw the promised land and still lost it. Why? Their inner lens was cracked. "We were like grasshoppers in our own sight, and so we were in theirs."
They didn’t lose the battle on the battlefield, they lost it in their own eyes.
They did not lose to giants, they lost to their perspective. Their sight was infected.
Their trauma shaped their lens. So they aborted a divine inheritance simply because they couldn't see right.

You may be seeing your life and future but the question is: as what? As uncertain or sure? As a blessing or a burden? As a seed or a dead thing?
Hear this: Your broken perspective can be your greatest enemy. So, you must develop a healed perspective.
Healed perspective means you stop interpreting your present with the vocabulary of your past.

How do you develop a healthy, healed perspective?

1. Let Jesus Touch You Again:
The man in Mark 8 was honest: he admitted, “I see men as trees.” And Jesus laid hands on him again. Don’t fake what you see, cry for help. Let the Spirit of God reframe your vision. Allow healing into those areas of brokenness that have colored how you interpret life.

2. Renew Your Mind Daily:
Romans 12:2 tells us transformation happens by renewing the mind. This is not a one-time thing. It’s a daily thing. Thoughts must be filtered, fears must be replaced and lies must be uprooted. The truth of God's Word now becomes the lens you see through.

3. Stop Comparing Yourself
Comparison distorts your truth. You can’t borrow another person’s lens to define your life. What God is building in you requires your journey, not a copy and paste of someone else's. Stay in your lane.

TOPIC: WISDOM FOR OWNING THE FUTURE – PART 85
TEXT:PROVERBS 24:3 "Through wisdom is an house builded; and by understanding it is established."

There’s no wisdom like knowing what God wants and choosing it. In a world full of options, voices, trends and self absorbed living, the ability to discern the will of God is the difference between a life of fulfillment and that of frustration. Yesterday, we saw that the will of God refers to His desires, intentions and plans concerning your life and it is always good, acceptable and perfect.
But here’s the contention: How do I recognise it? How do I know whether it’s God’s will?

The will of God is not discovered through guesswork or guess-prophecies.

Here are more ways you can Recognise The Will of God.

3. Peace in Your Spirit, Not in Your Circumstances:
Colossians 3:15 says, "Let the peace of God rule in your hearts…"
God leads by peace. Not the peace that comes from a comfortable situation but the peace in your heart that overrides confusion. Even when the path looks like a Red Sea or a lion’s den, when God is in it, your spirit knows. It’s the kind of peace that silences the storm inside, even when there’s a storm outside.

4.Alignment with The Scriptures:
The will of God never contradicts God’s Word.
Any leading that contradicts the pattern and counsel of the Word is not from God. Don’t Don’t chase prophetic voices when you’re neglecting Bible verses. God’s voice is consistent with His Word. If it violates Scripture, it is not God.

5. The Witness of the Spirit
Romans 8:14 "For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, they are the sons of God."
The will of God comes with a knowing, a witness, a deep inner conviction. The Holy Spirit doesn’t shout or force, He confirms. He nudges. He impresses. He affirms with repeated cues, divine disruptions and discontent with alternatives. Learn to be still and discern His still small voice.

Today's wisdom for owning the future is Preserving What You are Building.
Many people start the journey of success with passion and zeal, but along the way, through carelessness or ignorance, they end up tearing down the very thing they once laboured to establish.
So many people want to regain by faith what foolishness has destroyed.
Proverbs 19:3 People ruin their lives by their own foolishness and then are angry at the Lord.(NLT)."
A foolish person destroys their own progress, sometimes through reckless words or actions. Many start well but fail to finish strong because they ignore the principles that sustain success.

HOW TO PRESERVE WHAT YOU ARE BUILDING
1. IDENTIFY INTERNAL THREATS:
The greatest enemy of what you are building is not always external opposition but internal carelessness. A house divided against itself cannot stand. Businesses, ministries and even relationships fail, not because of external attacks, but because of cracks from within.
Sometimes, we are tempted to point fingers on the outside, but the fruit you enjoy is as a result of the seed you have sown whether wisdom or foolishness.

2.CONSTANT MAINTENANCE:
Every strong structure requires ongoing maintenance. A house left unattended will deteriorate over time. In the same way, what God has entrusted to you requires intentional upkeep. Success is not about how well you start; it is about how well you maintain!

3.AVOID THE TRAP OF COMPLACENCY:
The moment you relax your grip on what you are building, decline begins. Many kings in scripture started in strength but ended in failure because they grew complacent. Uzziah was helped by God until he became strong, then he let pride and carelessness ruin him (2 Chronicles 26:15-16). Never assume that what you have built is too strong to fall.

4.STAY ROOTED IN DIVINE WISDOM:
The wisdom that builds something is the wisdom that sustains it.In 1Kings 11:4-11, Solomon built a glorious temple and ruled with divine insight, but the moment he turned away from God’s wisdom, his kingdom fell into ruin. You cannot sustain greatness without divine guidance. Keep God as the foundation, and your building will stand the test of time!

The only future that exists is the one that is preserved.

Today's wisdom for owning the future is Valuing Wise Counsel.
One of the greatest marks of wisdom is the ability to seek and value counsel. Proverbs 11:14 "Where no counsel is, the people fall: but in the multitude of counsellors there is safety."

Even kings do not go to war based on emotions; they surround themselves with wise men who understand strategy, timing and ex*****on. Proverbs 24:6 says, “For by wise counsel you shall wage your war, and in a multitude of counselors there is safety.”
Don't always live your life as you like and feel. Wise counsel preserves your life and resources.

HOW TO WALK IN WISE COUNSEL.
1.BE HUMBLE ENOUGH TO SEEK IT:
Arrogance shuts the door to wisdom. A wise man knows what he does not know and seeks guidance. When David sought to recover all, he inquired of the Lord (1 Samuel 30:8). Before making major decisions, ask yourself: Who has the wisdom I need for this next step?

2.CHOOSE YOUR COUNSELORS WISELY:
Not all advice is divine wisdom. Surround yourself with those who carry the mind of God. Rehoboam lost ten tribes of Israel because he rejected the wisdom of the elders and followed the foolishness of his peers (1 Kings 12:6-11). Counsel must be tested against God’s Word and divine purpose.

3.LEARN FROM MENTORS, NOT MISTAKES: Experience is a teacher, but it is not the best teacher, wisdom is. You do not have to make costly mistakes when you can learn from those who have gone ahead. In Exodus 18:17-24 Moses received counsel from his father-in-law Jethro and it preserved his strength and leadership. Mentors shorten your learning curve.

4.OBEY DIVINE COUNSEL PROMPTLY
Wisdom is only profitable when applied. Many people hear wisdom but never act on it.
The difference between those who succeed and those who struggle is in their ability to obey godly counsel. Jesus said in Matthew 7:24, “Whoever hears these words of mine and does them is like a wise man who built his house on the rock.” Obedience to wise counsel secures your future.

Many destinies have been shipwrecked because people refused to seek or heed wise counsel.
A man who isolates himself from wisdom walks straight into disaster. There is a reason God positions voices of wisdom around you. Counsel prevents destruction, accelerates destiny and preserves the future.

TOPIC: WISDOM FOR OWNING THE FUTURE- PART 72
TEXT: PROVERBS 24:3 "Through wisdom is an house builded; and by understanding it is established."

Today's wisdom for owning the future is Putting Your Confidence In God.
Where is your confidence? In your skills? Your connections? Your money? Many people are standing on foundations that will eventually crumble. The systems of this world are unreliable, but the wisdom for owning the future is to anchor your confidence in God alone. Everything else can fail, but God can never fail!
PSALM 20:7 "Some trust in chariots and some in horses, but we trust in the name of the LORD our God."

Life will always test what you trust in. Some put their faith in their intelligence, only to meet situations that outsmart them. Others rely on financial security, only for the economy to shift. But those who put their trust in the Lord are immovable and unstoppable!

FOUR REASONS TO PUT YOUR CONFIDENCE IN GOD:
1.EVERY OTHER SOURCE WILL FAIL: Human strength has limits. The wealthiest still face loss, the wisest still make errors, and the strongest still get weary. If your confidence is in yourself, you will eventually hit a wall. But they that trust in the Lord shall renew their strength! (Isaiah 40:31)

2.GOD HOLDS THE FUTURE: You don’t control tomorrow, but God does. When your confidence is in Him, you can move with boldness, knowing He has already made a way. The economy may crash, systems may collapse, but God’s promises remain! (Jeremiah 17:7-8)

3.CONFIDENCE IN GOD ACTIVATES SUPERNATURAL HELP: Jehoshaphat was outnumbered, but instead of trusting in military strategy, he put his confidence in God and won the battle without fighting (2 Chronicles 20:12-22). The moment you shift your trust from yourself to God, divine backing is activated!

4.WHEN YOU TRUST GOD, YOU CANNOT BE MOVED: Fear grips those who rely on the arm of flesh. But those whose confidence is in the Lord walk in supernatural peace. No matter what comes, they know their foundation is unshakable! Psalm 125:1 "They that trust in the Lord shall be as mount Zion, which cannot be removed, but abideth for ever."

5.WHEN YOU TRUST GOD, YOUR OUTCOME IS SURE: If it's not God, it's not sure.
1 Corinthians 3:6-7(TPT) "I was the one who planted the church and Apollos came and cared for it, but it was God who caused it to grow. This means the one who plants is not anybody special, nor the one who waters, for God is the one who brings the supernatural growth."
Your strategy without trusting God will lead to wasted effort. God gives the victory, increase, growth and greatness.
Psalm 127:1 "Unless the Lord builds a house, the work of the builders is wasted. Unless the Lord protects a city, guarding it with sentries will do no good."

You must prepare, plan and take strategic action, but at the end of the day, victory belongs to God. "The horse is made ready for the day of battle, but victory rests with the Lord." (Proverbs 21:31, NIV). This is the confidence of the wise, they do their part, but they rest in God’s ability to bring the results!

Today's wisdom for owning the future is DECISION.
Your life is the sum total of your decisions. Destiny is not a product of chance; it is a product of decisions. Every man rises or falls by the quality of decisions he makes daily.

Some people pray for a change of situation but their decisions contradict their prayers. You cannot pray for financial increase while making careless spending decisions. Every decision you make today is building your tomorrow!

FOUR DECISIONS THAT DETERMINE YOUR FUTURE:
1.THE DECISION OF WHO YOU SERVE AND OBEY :
Joshua 24:15 "But if you are unwilling to obey the Lord, then decide today whom you will obey. Will it be the gods of your ancestors?.. But as for me and my family, we will serve the Lord.”
This is the greatest decision of all.
This decision to align with God and obey Him determines the course of your life, the level of divine backing you enjoy and your eternity. Your future is secured in the covenant you have with God.
Make a decision today to serve the Lord only.

2.THE DECISION TO LIVE WITH PURPOSE:
Your purpose is the reason you were born, it must be a conscious decision to follow the pathway of purpose.
"Before I formed you in the womb I knew you, before you were born I set you apart."Jeremiah 1:5
Until you discover and commit to your divine assignment, life will feel like a cycle of unfulfilled effort.

3. THE DECISION TO GROW :
Proverbs 24:5 The wise are mightier than the strong, and those with knowledge grow stronger and stronger.
The key to growth is knowledge.
You either invest in your growth or remain stagnant. Until you expand your mind, your life will not expand. Stop waiting for success to happen, decide to develop yourself.

4.THE DECISION TO SEPARATE YOURSELF:
2 Corinthians 6:17 says, "Come out from among them and be separate, says the Lord."
Destiny requires consecration. Not every association aligns with your assignment. There are places, people and lifestyle you must leave behind if you want to move forward. Your separation will determine your elevation!

You don’t stumble into a great future, you decide your way into it. Every decision you make is shaping your tomorrow. Make wise decisions today!

TOPIC: WISDOM FOR OWNING THE FUTURE – PART 68
TEXT: PROVERBS 24:3 "Through wisdom is an house builded; and by understanding it is established."

Today's wisdom for owning the future is Strategic Labour.
Many people are working hard, yet struggling. They are pushing, striving, exhausting themselves, yet results seem distant. Why? Because labor without wisdom is frustration in motion.
Ecclesiastes 10:15 – "The labour of the foolish wearieth every one of them, because he knoweth not how to go to the city."

The foolish man is not struggling because he is lazy. He is exhausted because he lacks the wisdom to channel his efforts correctly. He is putting in energy but not making progress. He is sweating but not arriving. And that is the painful reality for many today; motion without movement, activity without accomplishment.

•WHAT MAKES A MAN WISE IN HIS LABOR?

1. CLARITY OF DESTINATION:
You cannot arrive at a future you have not defined. Where are you going? What is the “city” you seek? What is your mandate? Your assignment? Without a clear vision, you will exhaust yourself in cycles of frustration. In Luke 9:51, Jesus knew where He was headed. He said,"I must go to Jerusalem" Purpose demands precision. Clarity is the compass that directs your labour.

2. STRATEGIC EX*****ON:
Wisdom is knowing what to do, when to do it, and how to do it. Many people have great ideas, but they lack an ex*****on strategy. They are filled with dreams but lack the structure to birth them into reality. Joseph did not just interpret Pharaoh’s dream, he created a system to store grain for seven years of famine. That was the difference between revelation and dominion. The future does not submit to wishes; it bows to strategic action.

3. MENTORSHIP:
No matter how gifted you are, you need direction. The man in Ecclesiastes 10:15 was not lacking effort, he was lacking instruction. His struggle was not in working, but in knowing how to work effectively. Every man who rises stands on the wisdom of those who have gone ahead. The question is, who is instructing you? Who is correcting your blind spots? Who are you learning from? The quickest way to own the future is to align with men who have mastered its systems.

4. DIVINE LEADING
There is a difference between labour that produces sweat and labour that produces results. The missing link is divine guidance. Many people are laboring outside of divine order and wonder why their results are delayed. The key is not just working, it is working under God’s direction.

Effort alone is not the secret to success. The difference between frustration and fulfillment is wisdom.
Stop laboring in ignorance. Stop sweating without results. Get wisdom and your efforts will produce undeniable results!

TOPIC: WISDOM FOR OWNING THE FUTURE – PART 67
TEXT: PROVERBS 24:3 "Through wisdom is an house builded; and by understanding it is established."

Another powerful wisdom for owning the future is The Power of Saying NO.
When you step into purpose, your YES must become intentional. You won't have to put your YES on everything.
Many destinies have been trapped because they lacked the courage to say NO. If you are still at the mercy of people’s opinions, you are not ready for the future. Growth demands that you master the art of declining distractions, rejecting limitations and walking away from anything that does not align with your assignment.
Saying NO to certain things is not rebellion, it is wisdom.
What is most important is to please God who has called you.
Obviously, I’m not trying to win the approval of people, but of God. If pleasing people were my goal, I would not be Christ’s servant. Galatians 1:10(NLT)

There will be moments when your convictions will cost you relationships. There will be seasons when your decision to stay on course will make you look difficult. But remember this: accepting the choice of impressing a man will cost you more.
What God has placed in you is too great to be wasted on the altar of people-pleasing.

BUILD A GREAT LIFE BY SAYING:
1. NO TO DISTRACTIONS, YES TO FOCUS:
Proverbs 4:25&27
25 "Set your gaze on the path before you. With fixed purpose, looking straight ahead, ignore life’s distractions."
27. Don’t allow yourself to be sidetracked for even a moment or take the detour that leads to darkness".(TPT)
Every great destiny requires focus. You cannot afford to be everywhere, doing everything, following everyone. Growth requires restriction. Your YES must be scarce and your NO must be firm.

2. NO TO PLEASING PEOPLE, YES TO PLEASING GOD:
"We must obey God rather than human beings!" (Acts 5:29)
Pleasing people is a trap. One day they clap for you, the next day they crucify you. Do not be controlled by applause or approval. If you live for validation, you will die from rejection.

3. NO TO NEEDLESS INVITATION, YES TO PURPOSEFUL ASSOCIATIONS:
Psalm1:1 says "Blessed is the one who does not walk in step with the wicked or stand in the way that sinners take or sit in the company of mockers," (NIV)
Not everyone qualifies for access in your life. The wrong people will drain you, derail you and delay you. Be wise enough to say NO to distractors and YES to supernatural relationships that sharpen your destiny.

Every YES costs something. Every NO preserves something. Until you learn the power of NO, you will keep trading your destiny for temporary pleasures.
SAY NO TO WHAT LIMITS YOU AND SAY YES TO WHAT LIFTS YOU.

Today's wisdom for owning the future is Moving From Inspiration to Perspiration.
The journey to greatness is not a wish, it is work.
Some people have been in the corridors of inspiration for years; talking, analyzing and planning, yet refusing to move. They're waiting for a magical moment.
Proverbs 14:23 says"All hard work brings a profit, but mere talk leads only to poverty."

It was Thomas Edison who said that, "Genius is 1% inspiration and 99% perspiration," This implies that while ideas are valuable, achieving greatness requires a significant amount of hard work and dedication.

"1% inspiration":
This refers to the initial spark of an idea, a moment of insight, or a creative flash that sets something in motion.
"99% perspiration":
This signifies the immense effort, dedication, and hard work required to turn that initial idea into a reality. It involves countless hours of experimentation, problem-solving, and overcoming challenges.

The quote highlights the balance between having a good idea and the crucial role of hard work in achieving success.

Application to Life:
This quote can be applied to various aspects of life, emphasizing that achieving goals requires hard work, dedication, and resilience.

Inspiration is only 1% of the equation; the remaining 99% is WORK.

If all you do is celebrate your ideas, admire your vision board, and get excited about the future without backing it up with action, you are setting yourself up for a small life.

Don't spend years celebrating inspiration, admiring vision boards, writing powerful ideas while you fail to translate them into action.

•HOW TO MOVE BEYOND INSPIRATION.
1.UNDERSTAND THAT VISION ALONE MEANS NOTHING:
"Faith by itself, if it is not accompanied by action, is dead." (James 2:17)
A vision is useless if it is not backed by action. It is not those who dream that own the future, it is those who execute. Stop talking about what you will do and start doing it!

2. FOCUS ON CONSISTENCY NOT INTENSITY:
Some people work hard once in a while and expect greatness. That is not how it works! Success is for those who show up every day, whether they feel like it or not. The difference between those who rise and those who stay behind is simple: STEADY, DISCIPLINED ACTION.
"Steady plodding brings prosperity; hasty speculation brings poverty." (Proverbs 21:5 TLB)
If you truly believe in your future, your actions must show it every single day.

3.STOP WAITING, START WORKING!
"Whoever watches the wind will not plant; whoever looks at the clouds will not reap." (Ecclesiastes 11:4)
The future belongs to those who act, not those who wait for the perfect moment. Perfectionism is a lie. Start where you are, with what you have, and grow as you go. The more you act, the clearer things become.

4. TALK LESS, WORK MORE!
"Let your light shine before others, that they may see your good deeds and glorify your Father in heaven." (Matthew 5:16)
What is light that keeps promising its shine but refuses to shine?
When you are truly working on that vision, people will see your work.
Talkers do not shake the world, workers do! Move from inspiration to perspiration.
Until your effort is evident, your future remains a theory.

The future bows to those who show up and put in the work everyday, until their success speaks louder than their words.
Life does not reward dreamers; it rewards doers.

PRAYER: DEAR FATHER, I REFUSE TO BE STUCK IN THE REALM OF INSPIRATION ALONE. HELP ME TO MOVE, TO ACT, TO EXECUTE RELENTLESSLY UNTIL I SEE RESULTS. GIVE ME THE GRACE FOR CONSISTENT ACTION AND LET MY WORK PRODUCE UNDENIABLE IMPACT.
