MEET PRINCE ADEYA ADEDOTUN ADEDOYIN
THE CEO ADEYA ADEDOTUN FOUNDATION.
Prince Adeya Adedotun Adedoyin was born over three decades ago into the family of Prince Ambrose Adeya and Mrs. Omonike Adeya. As the second child in a disciplined and value-driven household, he was raised with strong principles of honesty, responsibility, and service. His parents, both educators, played a significant role in shaping his character and instilling in him a deep respect for education and societal values. He hails from the royal Okuta/Jilo family of the Ondo Kingdom in Ondo West Local Government Area of Ondo State.
He began his educational journey at Saint Peter’s (FAC) Primary School, Ondo, where he obtained his Primary School Leaving Certificate in 1999. He proceeded to Ondo Anglican Grammar School for his secondary education, earning his SSCE. Driven by a passion for learning influenced by his upbringing, he attended Adeyemi College of Education, Ondo (now Adeyemi University of Education), where he graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Education (B.A.Ed) in History in 2011. During his undergraduate years, he actively participated in social, political, and sporting activities. He later completed his National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) at Auchi Polytechnic in Edo State, serving as an Assistant Lecturer. In pursuit of further professional development, he obtained a NEBOSH Diploma in 2019 from the International Health, Safety and Environment Training Council in Dubai, UAE. He also earned a postgraduate qualification in Criminology and Security Studies from the National Open University of Nigeria (NOUN) in 2024 and is currently pursuing a Master’s degree in Criminology and Criminal Justice.
Professionally, Prince Adeya began his career as a trained teacher, researcher, and historian. Over time, he expanded his expertise into health, safety, and environmental management, building a solid career in safety operations both locally and internationally. He worked as a Safety Officer with Seven Seas Steel Industries LLC in Dubai and has continued to grow in this field. Currently, he serves as a Senior Safety Officer at Another Chance of Ohio in Cleveland, USA, and is also affiliated with the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers. In addition to his professional career, he is an entrepreneur and the Chief Executive Officer of Prince Adeya Travels and Tours.
He is a member of several professional bodies, including the Teachers Registration Council of Nigeria (TRCN) and the International Health and Safety Council (IHSC). His professional affiliations reflect his commitment to maintaining high standards in both education and safety practice, as well as his dedication to continuous growth and global relevance.
Beyond his professional achievements, Prince Adeya is widely recognized for his humanitarian efforts through the Adeya Adedotun Foundation (AAF), which he established in 2021. The foundation focuses on supporting the less privileged through scholarships, business grants, and community outreach. Notably, on December 28, 2022, the foundation provided food support to over 1,000 senior citizens in Ondo Kingdom as part of its mission to combat hunger and uplift vulnerable populations. Through various empowerment initiatives for youths and students, his philanthropic work has earned him widespread respect, recognition, and honors both within and beyond Ondo State.
