VIDEO STORY: DHDEI Visits Ambassador’s Newly Established Beauty Firm in Ondo, Volunteer to Train Organization Beneficiaries
The leadership of Dakiz Human Development and Empowerment Initiative (DHDEI) has paid a special visitation to one of its ambassadors, Miss Afolabi Dorcas Abidemi, following the successful establishment of her hairdressing brand, Hair By Nicky, located at Palm Grove, Ondo City.
Miss Afolabi Dorcas Abidemi, a graduate of Adeyemi Federal University of Education, was trained in Hairdressing through the free empowerment initiative of DHDEI at Hair By Ricky. Her transition from trainee to business owner stands as another practical testimony of the organization’s commitment towards youth empowerment, skill acquisition, and self reliance.
The DHDEI delegation was led by Akingbade Toluwa-Jolomi, Visioneer of the organization, alongside Miss Ologun Gbemileke OreOfe, CEO of Togah Pixels and Coordinator of DHDEI AFUED Ondo Chapter, as well as Mr. Ayenuro Idowu, CEO of IDAN Visuals, who also serves as the official graphic artist of the organization. Interestingly, both delegates are also proud ambassadors and products of the DHDEI empowerment structure.
The newly established CEO warmly received the delegation in the presence of her clients and customers who were at the salon during the visitation. The atmosphere was filled with joy, excitement, and appreciation as the organization celebrated another success story birthed through its empowerment vision.
Speaking during the visit, Akingbade Toluwa-Jolomi offered prayers for the growth, sustainability, and expansion of the business, while encouraging the young entrepreneur to remain committed to excellence, professionalism, and impact within the beauty industry.
In another major development, Miss Afolabi Dorcas Abidemi officially joined the growing network of DHDEI volunteers and partners who are contributing towards youth empowerment through free vocational training. She has volunteered to train two beneficiaries under the forthcoming July Empowerment Programme of DHDEI in partnership with the National Association of Ondo State Students.
The organization described her decision as a commendable act of giving back to society and a true reflection of the DHDEI vision of raising empowered youths who will in turn empower others.
