WHEN LIFE IS THE REAL STAGE WHAT'S NEXT?
A teacher said: I trained a group of girls at the end of the academic session to sing a song in front of their mothers during the graduation ceremony. After they were trained and rehearsed several times systematically, the day of the ceremony arrived, and the song presentation began. But what spoiled this beautiful program was a little girl who stopped singing with her friends and started moving her hands, body, fingers, and face in a manner that seemed comical, almost distracting the other girls because of how she was moving.
The teacher said: I tried to draw her attention to correct her, but it didn't work. I reached a point of great anger, almost pulling her out forcefully, but every time I approached her, she quickly dodged me, intensifying what she was doing until all the spectators started laughing in amazement. When I looked at the principal's face, I saw her grimacing with embarrassment; she stood up from her seat and approached me saying, "We must expel this shameless girl from this school.
" But what surprised us even more was: The girl's mother had been standing, clapping strongly for her throughout, seemingly encouraging her. When the song ended, the mother quickly entered the circle, grabbed her hand, and hugged her tightly. I moved close to the girl and said, "Why didn't you sing with your friends; why were you doing those awkward movements?" The girl said, "Because my mother is here." I was amazed hearing this, but the girl added, "My mother is deaf and doesn't speak, that's why I was interpreting the song we were presenting in sign language so she could understand the lyrics and be happy like other parents.
" Hearing this explanation, I burst into tears and hugged her. Everyone in the hall shed tears after understanding the truth. But the sweetest thing was: Instead of expelling her, the principal honored her and awarded her a prize for "Girl Worth Emulating." They came out together with her mother, raising her head proudly, jumping with joy because she succeeded in making her mother happy.
