WHAT HAVE WE ACHIEVED WITH 10 BILLION NAIRA IN SIX YEARS?

2. I bring this data saddened by the fact that with more than 3 billion naira accumulated in one year, there is still no functional Public Hospital in Oji-River Local Government Area for nearly 3 decades.

5. As another election season approaches, they will promise to get it right while our people continue to suffer from the most common illnesses and diseases.
6. To understand the total figure, let’s break down the allocation of ₦10,737,003,267.52 across various sectors, focusing on infrastructure and health only:
Infrastructure
Road Construction and Maintenance
Allocation: ₦3,000,000,000
Impact: Constructing approximately 100 kilometers of new roads and maintaining existing ones.
Street Lighting
Allocation: ₦500,000,000
Impact: Installing around 10,000 street lights in key areas to improve security and extend business hours.
Water and Sanitation
Allocation: ₦1,500,000,000
Impact: Developing 50 new water points and 100 sanitation facilities to improve public health and hygiene.

Impact: Constructing and maintaining parks, gardens, and public spaces, enhancing community well-being.
