‎As the year comes to a close, the frontline Non-Governmental Organization in Cross River State, Godwin And Lydia Foundation extends its heartfelt gratitude to everyone who has been part of her journey in 2025.

‎The founder and CEO, Mr Okoni Nicholas Akobi through the Media Head of the NGO earlier today wrote:

‎DAY 4 OF THE VOTER'S SENSITIZATION BY GODWIN AND LYDIA FOUNDATION.

‎Godwin And Lydia Foundation ongoing voters sensitization entered the fourth day at Oloko- Ogwope and Ibi-Oloko Community, all in Echumofana ward.
‎
‎Recall that the foremost NGO embarked on voters sensitization campaign across Yala LGA of Cross River State to raise awareness on the ongoing Continuous Voters Registration. Mr. David Igbiji led the team to St Gertrude Catholic Church Ibi-Oloko and St Patrick's Catholic Church Oloko-Ogwope

‎During the sensitization the Lead Speaker drew the attention of the masses to the importance of the ongoing Continuous Voters Registration. He reminded the congregation to take advantage of the opportunity and get registered so as to enable them exercise their franchise. He equally stressed on the other benefits of the voters cards and encouraged them to embrace the exercise wholeheartedly.

‎The exercise had a large turn-out of members at the two churches indicating interest to get registered whenever the opportunity presents itself. The team assured them of the deliberate effort made by the foundation in conjunction with stakeholders to facilitate a hitch free registration exercise for all eligible voters in the ward.
‎The exercise continues subsequently.

GODWIN AND LYDIA FOUNDATION(GLF) EXTENDS VOTERS SENSITIZATION TO ECHUMOFANA WARD.
‎
‎It was another moment of creating political awareness on Sunday, 4th October, 2025, as Godwin And Lydia Foundation visited St Paul's Quasi Parish Echumofana, and St Luke's s Catholic Church Ekprinyi both in Echumofana ward in continuation of the sensitization of electorates on the ongoing Continuous Voters Registration.
‎
‎The team which arrived the Parish were welcomed by the Parish priest, Rev Fr. Greg and allowed them have a session with the congregation. The leader of the team, Comr Raphael Joseph reminded the people the need to get registered and obtain their voter cards emphasizing the importance of the voters cards to include being able to participate in elections and elect leaders of their choice, as a means of identification, for ease of accessing grants and other socio-economic benefits from the government amongst other benefits.

‎The Parish priest of St Paul's Quasi Parish Echumofana, who was visibly elated with the exercise hailed Godwin And Lydia Foundation (GF) for championing this course, noting the Sensitization is timely, considering the fact that the next election is by the corner. He promised to reiterate the message of the foundation and ensures every member of the Parish keys in and get registered. The day's exercise was concluded at St Luke's Catholic Church Ekprinyi with a large turn-out of members indicating interest for the registration.

‎The team later conducted pre-registration for eligible voters at the two churches and took their bio-data for ease of registration during the actual registration by INEC.
‎The exercise continues next Sunday.

‎The foremost Non Governmental Organization in Cross River State, Godwin And Lydia Foundation celebrates with one of her staff, Comrade Ukpor Innocent Osobu on being elected as the President, National Association of Yache Students Worldwide (NAYS WW).
‎
‎In a goodwill message, the founder and CEO of the NGO, Mr Okoni Nicholas Akobi salutes the astuteness, bravery and determination of the President which saw him clinch the exalted office. "Such an esteemed position could not have been gotten on a platter of gold as it was keenly fought by many contestants. Your emergence however, attests to your intellectual charisma, leadership prowess and sociable skills."

‎"The foundation uses the moment to congratulate you knowing too well that the experience acquired from the NGO will be of tremendous help in the discharge of duties in your new office. We enjoin you to put the interest of students above board while delivery your functions.
