BSA Foundation Condemns Vandalism and Misrepresentation of Its Community Projects in Ogbomoso South

The BSA Foundation strongly condemns the recent vandalism and rebranding of its community projects in Ogbomoso South Local Government Area.

Between 2021 and 2022, the Foundation rehabilitated long-abandoned community boreholes by installing new pumping machines and tanks to restore clean water supply across multiple communities. In the same period, the Foundation also constructed brand-new bus stops to improve public convenience and infrastructure.

We are deeply concerned that, following the defection of our president from the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) to the African Democratic Congress (ADC) in June 2025, agents of the current local government administration have allegedly vandalized and rebranded these projects, falsely claiming them as their own.

BSA Foundation wishes to reiterate that our humanitarian activities are completely independent of the personal political decisions of our president. These projects were executed solely for the benefit of the people of Ogbomoso South and must not be politicized or misrepresented.

We call on security agencies and relevant authorities to investigate these acts of sabotage and ensure community assets are protected. We remain committed to improving lives in Ogbomoso South and beyond, undeterred by attempts to undermine our work.
