On October 11th 2025, Seed of Praise Initiative commemorated the International Day of the Girl Child with an impactful outreach, distributing 60 dignity kits to adolescent girls in need.
This gesture underscore our commitment to upholding girls' dignity, health,and safety in kwara state.
Our aim is to preserve dignity, promote health, and reduce vulnerabilities- especially in contexts of crisis or displacement.

In fulfillment of one of our core missions focused on women and children, Seed of Praise Initiative is honored to be part of the Maternal and Neonatal Mortality Reduction Innovation Initiative (MAMII) Task Force.
This task force was officially inaugurated on Friday, August 1, 2025, following a week-long intensive training held at Silver Gate Hotel. The program brought together key stakeholders committed to addressing Nigeria’s alarming maternal and neonatal mortality rates.
The MAMII initiative is designed to reduce these rates through a comprehensive strategy that includes improved access to quality healthcare, better transportation for pregnant women, upgraded care facilities, and the training of healthcare professionals.
The primary objectives of the initiative include:
Improving Healthcare Access: Strengthening primary healthcare systems and enhancing community participation in maternal health.
Capacity Building: Training healthcare workers and traditional birth attendants to deliver high-quality care.
Community Engagement: Empowering communities to track pregnancies and encourage women to utilize primary healthcare services.
Emergency Response: Establishing effective referral pathways and emergency transport systems.
The MAMII project has set the following ambitious goals:
Increase the use of health facilities and skilled birth attendance by 60%.
Reduce maternal mortality by 30% within three years.
At Seed of Praise Initiative, the well-being of mothers and children remains our top priority. We are proud to contribute to this vital national effort.

We are happy to announce that Seed of Praise Initiative has partnered with Rotary Club Kwara State to provide free medical care to persons with disabilities, pregnant women, and nursing mothers as part of the Maternal and Child Health (MCH) program!

On July 26, 2025, our team joined forces with Kwara Rotarians at Baboko Community Secondary School in Ilorin to offer a range of essential medical services, including:
- *Free Medical Consultations*: Beneficiaries received thorough medical check-ups and treatments.
- *Health Screenings*: Screenings for various health conditions were conducted to ensure early detection and prevention.
- *Medications and Supplies*: Free medications, sanitary pads, mosquito nets, and delivery kits were distributed to those in need.
- *Counseling and Support*: Beneficiaries received counseling and support to address their specific needs.

This initiative aims to reduce maternal and infant mortality rates, particularly among vulnerable groups. We're grateful for the support of our partners, including NYNETHA, SHEAD, and Ilorin Global Shapers, who made this event possible.
