BUILDING INDIGENOUS LEADERSHIP IN CO-DEVELOPING CLIMATE-RESILIENT TECHNOLOGIES FOR SUSTAINABLE AGRI-FOOD SYSTEMS

This impactful workshop—organized by the Department of Agricultural and Bioresources Engineering in collaboration with the IDRC-Step Change SCALE Initiative and Engineering Express—aims to empower local stakeholders in co-developing equitable, technology-driven solutions for climate resilience in African agri-food systems.

Participants will explore how to integrate Indigenous knowledge systems with emerging technologies to build inclusive, sustainable, and climate-resilient agricultural futures.
