41st Installation Ceremony: “Roots & Regal”
A Day of Culture, Leadership, and Celebration
The Rotaract Club of UNN (ROTA-LION) marked a remarkable milestone with its 41st Installation Ceremony themed “Roots & Regal.” It was a culturally rich celebration of leadership and service. Hosted in the heart of the University of Nigeria, Nsukka, the event brought together Rotaractors, alumni, archivals, guests, and Rotarians in a beautiful display of tradition and elegance.
The ceremony opened with a warm welcome and heartfelt remarks, followed by the recognition of dignitaries and partners. The outgoing president and board members shared a touching reflection on the past year, highlighting the club’s achievements, challenges, and growth under her leadership.
The most anticipated moment of the day was the installation of the 41st President and the new Board of Directors. Dressed in regal attires adorned with traditional beads and rich cultural patterns, the new leaders embodied a perfect union of modern leadership and deep-rooted cultural pride.
Throughout the event, the club’s devotion to preserving its heritage while advancing leadership and service was evident. Guests enjoyed traditional dances, poetic expressions, and musical performances that beautifully captured the “Roots & Regal” spirit.
