The Emerge Club (TEC) is the undergraduate club of the Double Edged Impact Network, a registered independent, non-governmental, non-profit, and (inter)national organization that has as its purpose to establish a platform for the discovery, development, deployment, and promotion of members. The Emerge Club was formerly known as Double Edged Network and was founded in 2019 at the University of Niger
ia, by Ifegwu-Mbonu Victor, while still an undergraduate at the institution. The Club is set up to provide undergraduates with a platform for developing themselves in the following core areas:
1. Mental Development: This is because the mind is the control room of the activities of humans.
2. Personal Growth: This is because no one ever goes farther than himself or herself.
3. Leadership Development: This is because everyone can lead and within everyone is a Leadership seed that has to be developed for it to come out to the open.
4. Interpersonal Relationship Development: This is because no one is an island; every man is a part of a larger social group.
5. Career Development: This is because one’s career and profession are what give him or her worth in society.
6. Entrepreneurial Development: This is because we are committed to building businesses and industries that will aid in the economic well-being of individuals and society
7. Civic Awareness and Engagement: This is because we have a role to contribute to the growth of our society and to help educate others on how to do the same.
