Nasarawa Central Mosque Foundation To Construct a world class Mosque and Islamic Center

OUTCOME OF THE LAUNCHING/FUNDRAISING OF THE NASARAWA CENTRAL MOSQUE FOUNDATION

The Nasarawa Central Mosque Foundation organised and executed a function of Opening Ceremony and Commissioning of the Nasarawa Central Mosque and Sultan Muhammad Sa'ad Abubakar III's Islamiyya School components part of the Nasarawa Central Mosque Complex Project embarked since 2017.

The ceremony was accompanied by a launching/fundraising to enable the Foundation achieve its goal of executing and completing the rest of the components of the Mosque Complex such as Islamic Library, Furnishing of the Islamiyya School, Mosque Shopping Centres and other auxiliary works estimated at about N285,000,000.00.

The launching which was held on 16th February, 2024 yielded about N116,000,000.00, mostly through pledges.

Major donations comes from HE. Engr. Abdullahi A. Sule, the Governor of Nasarawa State; our Chief Launcher, Senator Ahmed Aliyu Wadada; RH. the Emirs of KeffI and Lafia and their Emirate Councils; HRH. The Emir of Karshi; Alh. Nasiru Mohammed Ibrahim (CEO D. Nas); Sarkin Fadan KeffI; Osu Ajiri of Ajiri Chiefdom; Chinese Company and host of others. May Allah bless and reward them all.

However, the Foundation is still in pursuit for more donations to raise the estimated cost of 285m in order to engulf all the remaining outstanding jobs and complete within a specified time.

May Allah in His infinite power and mercy bless each and every one of us who contributed in cash or kind or both towards this marvellous project. Aaamiin.

The journey of about 6 years commenced since July 2017 has reached a tremendous progress with the Main Mosque 🕌, 3 units of Ablution Areas, and Islamiyya Building components of the project completed and to be commissioned tomorrow Friday 16th February, 2024.

This event would be accompanied by a fundraising to ascertain completion of the other appendages such as Mosque Library, Mosque Shopping Centres, Parking Lots and access roads etc.

In this regards, the Foundation here by invite Muslim faithfuls around the globe to witness a lifetime event of glorious grand opening ceremony and commissioning of these edifices part of the intended project of a world-class Mosque in the heart of Nasarawa.

Commissioning would be done by His Eminence, the Sultan of Sokoto, Alh. Muhammad Sa'ad Abubakar III, CFR, mni, president of the Sultanate Council of Nigeria; and would be graced by prominent personalities and Emirs such as Engr. A. A. Sule, the Governor of Nasarawa State; and Emirs of Kano, Zazzau amongst others of the same category.

Assalam alaikum

The Nasarawa Central Mosque Foundation hereby recognise and appreciate your tireless, selfless and relentless efforts, contributions and donations towards the project of erecting New Nasarawa Central Mosque. May the Almighty Allah (SWT) reward each and every one of you.

Nonetheless, as the commissioning of the Mosque draws closer and the preparations time elapsing around this January, 2024, the funds needed for the activities of the Opening Ceremony and Commissioning becomes another challenge and the Foundation was able to raise about Three Million Naira only (N3,000,000.00) out of the budgeted Eight Million Naira (N8,000,000.00).

In light of the above, we humbly urge you to not be tired towards assisting the course for the propagation of Islam.

Remember, Ibn Majah reported that the Rasool (SAW) said "Whoever builds a house for Allah, even if it is a nest of bird, Allah will build a house for him in Jannah"

May Allah build a house for us all in Jannah as we are striving to build one for him in Nasarawa Town. Aaamiin.
