The Northern Youth Assembly, like every other Organization, was established with a defined objective and goal in 2009, and was born out of the anxiety, and desire for a better Political change in Nigeria, by the likeminded Youths and Patriotic individuals across the Nineteen Northern States and beyond, with a particular Concern for development of one united North and Nigeria at large. The Northern
Youth Assembly, came as a child of necessity, with a clear mission to spearhead the struggle among the Entire Northern Youths, and the counterparts in the South, through alliance for a better Political system and Reform, with the ability to accommodate the peculiarities of Nigeria, in fair consideration to tribal, religious and regional differences, to ensure a continuous peaceful Social Co-existence among the people of Nigeria. The Northern Youth Assembly is a Non-Partisan, Non-Religious, Non-Tribal, a Political and a Pressure Group, aimed at galvanizing the forces towards creating a united platform, and a common discussion circle, geared towards providing an acceptable ground to reaching out to the vast majority of the Northern Youths and the counterparts in the South, and to ultimately provide the political leadership and direction needed for the region and Nigeria at large. It is also the Convener of the 200 Youth Association coalitions from the north and still expanding to accommodate as many as possible, the various Youth association in the North and the counterparts in the South through alliance. The northern youth Assembly, through its activities has organized number of meetings to brain-storm on the hydro multiple and pressing issues confronting us as a people. We have so far been able to re-direct, re-orient and re-focus a large number of the Northern Youths through the conferences and activities in Kaduna, Bauchi, Kano and Abuja; we evolved as a means of social and political re-engineering and re-orientation towards a creating a better Nigeria.
