Centre for Early Warning Initiative

Centre for Early Warning Initiative The Center for Early warning initiative is a Civil Society Organization established to work towards the prevention of conflicts and violence.

We are passionate about avoiding human casualties, loss of lives and property as a result of any form of conflict or violence. We utilize early warning as a mechanism to size up threats of early crisis by reporting such indicators promptly to the appropriate decision makers to take action. Furthermore, the center is formed to serve as an instrument of forecasting natural disasters such as droughts

, earthquakes, windstorm, flooding, and rainstorm among others. It employs modern and scientific tools in predicting both natural disasters and violent conflicts. Our efforts do not intend to suppress conflicts, but rather to respond to the trajectory of conflict. Crisis prevention initiatives in this sense is to prevent the use of violence and conflicts in settling avoidable and unavoidable disputes. We conduct analysis, monitoring, systematic data analysis and risk assessment or advocacy and information sharing which are related to EARLY WARNING SYSTEM
