AREAS OF SPECIALIZATION OF THE YANDANG MAN IN CRAFT.

Right from the time immemorial, the Yandang people are known to be brave hunters and farmers, they have never been lazy both men and women, apart from that, the Yandang people specializes in craft making, such as: 1.BLACKSMITHING, they produces the:-
- Hoes of different kinds.
- Ax of different kinds.
- Arrows of different kinds.
- Cultural wares such ginang use in producing harmonious sounds in music playing.
- Kaasoki used by the Yandang ladies during dancing, they are of different kinds and sizes.
- Ginang suuri used in asking ladies hand in marriage.
- Moo, used as part of dowry paid on ladies marriages. etc

2. ZANA MAT MAKING:-
- They are professional Zana mat producers where ever they reside.
- They produces traditional sleeping mats.

3. TRADITIONAL TEXTILES OR WEAVERS:
- The Yandang people specializes in atir weaving such as Langtang of different kinds, use for dresses and the burial of the the death etc

4. POTTERY:
The Yandang women specializes in port making of various kinds.
5.TRADITIONAL BASKET MAKING KNOWN AS "NAKKATANG"
This was used in carrying goods such as yams and other crops during harvest and to the Market etc
As mentioned above, Yandang people are one of the exporter of Zana mat to Jereng and Mayo-Belwa Markets among others.
