Earlier today, Brotherly Relief Mission Initiative participated in a colourful opening rally to mark International Women’s Day 2026 in Benue State, Nigeria. The event was organized in partnership with the Benue State Ministry of Women Affairs and Social Development, alongside Civil Society Organizations committed to advancing women's rights and wellbeing.

The rally brought together government representatives, community leaders, development partners, and civil society actors to amplify women's voices and promote inclusive development. We joined the conversation around this year's theme, "GIVE TO GAIN", highlighting women's invaluable contributions to strengthening families, communities, and peacebuilding processes, particularly in conflict-affected areas.

The event underscored that sustainable progress is achieved when women are empowered, recognized, and actively involved in shaping their communities' future. Together, our voices grow stronger, and through collective action, we champion a future where every woman's contribution is valued and every community thrives.
