CELEBRATION AGLOW AS MWT CELEBRATES EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR 'S BIRTHDAY!
We are all in and on cloud nine to celebrate our ED's birthday.
Today is a historic day in the history of this great man, it is historic because it reminds him the path he traveled in life on up to this moment. It reminds him of the joys, the sorrows of the past up to the present day. This moment is glorious. Indeed, it is the Lord who has made it, it is not by his right, not by his power, not by his might but, by privilege. We say thank you Lord! We are happy and we rejoice because, you tamed the unfriendly realities that surrounded you, navigated successfully the harsh oceans of life survived the equally harsh deserts and at last you survived. Lord you are worthy to be praised!
On the exuberant blissful day of July 27th a flamboyant creature was born and celebrated by both animates and inanimates globally.
The sun, moon, stars and the clouds were magnificently thrilled and ecstatic because of the PRINCE birth.
We officially invite you to congruently come commingle to celebrate this great day for our amiable, most distinguish, highly respected and indefatigable Executive Director all the way from Zurich Mr. Kenneth Aondohemba Vembe for clocking and annexing another year in his life again.

It is rather my pleasure to dedicate my special thanks to God almighty for being the reason for my existence and the source of blessings to me an iconic legal colossus, a quintessential philanthropist, a man of honour and dignity, whose lifestyle has a formidable fountain of inspirations to people from all walks of life, a man who epitomizes sound, good conscience and giant diplomatic strides, a man of bricks wisdom and unassailable effectual strength to dare life's vicissitudes with piquantly astuteness and ingenious confrontation no matter how herculean the tasks, a strong tower and enviable catalyst to upcoming radical minds who are aspiring to be educated and fulfill their destiny, a paragon of prowess, a thoroughbred with several track records of excellence. May lines fall on pleasantly blissful places for me this new age. May it be a new dawn of enlarged coast and broadened horizon. May I never stumble nor fall as I traverse around in this new age. THE EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR KENNETH VEMBE FELICITATES WITH CHRISTIANS ON EASTER CELEBRATION.

The Executive Director of MWT Mr. Kenneth Aondohemba Vembe has admonised Christians and all people of goodwill to reflect deeply on the significance of Easter which epitomizes sacrifice, love, perseverance and peace.

In an Easter message to the people, Mr. Kenneth noted that, Easter season is significant as Christ resurrection is the basis of our Christian Faith and offers mankind escape from eternal damnation. He therefore called on Christians to emulate the virtues of Christ by living in harmony, peaceful co-existence and to fervently pray for the unity and progress of the Nation.

The Digital ED described the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ as a symbol of sacrifice, suffering and renewed hope for the faithful, calling on them to recommit themselves to acts of kindness, compassion and service.

Mr. Ken. further wishes MWT a spirit filled celebration and a happy Easter holiday in good health.
Let the magic of love brighten our smiles and enlighten our souls. Happy Easter to the loveliest people I know!

Today being dated the 14th day of February, 2023 Make We Talk chum, bond, mingle, connect to partner with The Voice News Paper to take our organization to the next level, this aggregation took place in the office of the Editor of The Voice News Paper Mr. Solomon Ayado who affirmed this tie. The aim is to sponsor, assist in publishing news stories, public service announcement, event notices and other items of interest that we help to promote the organization activities to their readers.

I heartily rejoice with you on the occasion of this year's Christmas. Though coming at the end of year, Christmas is a symbol of birth and a new beginning, it is a time to remember others, gather around us all that we love, put aside problems and face the future with renewed confidence. Many of us look forward to this festive season as a time to travel, share gifts, spend quality time with family and friends, attend special events and generally relieve the good moments of the year. Benue State Aids Control Agency ( BenSACA)'s recommendation of Make We Talk Community Empowerment Initiative ( MWTCEI) to other agencies, ministries and organizations for humanitarian services as a prestigious Community Based Organization has mesmerized NACA to visit our office to have an interview with us to facilitate her program in the state.

NO MORE RIGMAROLE ON 16 DAYS OF ACTIVISM!
To help you appraise and appreciate this, Gender Based Violence is violence against a person because of that person's gender or violence that affects persons of a particular gender disproportionately likely to result in physical harm, sexual harm, psychological or economic harm or suffering to women.
This can take other forms of Female Ge***al Mutilation ( FGM) and Forced Marriage. Etc.
The 16 Days of Activism is a global campaign to sensitize and educate to challenge violence against women and girls. The campaign runs every year from 25 November to 10 December.
Today, vehicular activities were temporary halted along High Level Round About to the Government People's House Makurdi the Benue State capital.
As officers United Nations Population Fund ( UNFPA) , Bengonet Rural Development Initiative, Civil Society Organizations, Eunice Spring of Life Foundation, Benue State Sexual and Gender Based Violence Policy and Advocate Team, National Agency for the Prohibition of Trafficking in persons ( NAPTIP), National Human Rights Commission, Department and Agencies, Partnering Ministries, Make We Talk Community Empowerment Initiative, Development Partners Etc embarked on a road show and awareness walk as part of the activities lined up for the 16 Days of Activism Against Gender Based Violence.
The road show was led by the first lady of Benue State Her Excellency Dr. Mrs. Eunice Erdoo Ortom the founder of Eunice Spring and Life Foundation.
Speaking at the end of the long walk, Dr. Ortom expressed gratitude to participants, partners and other stakeholders that participated in the awareness walk saying that, it was a demonstration of collective solidarity to end Gender Based Violence. She urged Nigerians to to rise up against Gender Based Violence.
In her speech, tasked the media and other stake holders with the need to scale up reports on GBV with a view to exposing the perpetrators and enhancing access to justice for the victims.
As we marked the end of 16 Days of Activism for the year 2022 with Human Rights Day, the public are advised to desist abuse of all harm that impedes the full enjoyment of internationally recognized human rights and fundamentals freedoms including environmental rights to avoid punishment within the confines of the law.

ELIMINATING MANICALLY GENDER BASED VIOLENCE!
It is a FALLACY OF EXPECTANCY a situation in which an individual or a group of people rely their hope on an event that wouldn't happen.
To debunk on this year's 16 DAYS OF ACTIVISM AGAINST GENDER BASED VIOLENCE which commenced on the 25th November, 2022 Make We Talk Community Empowerment Initiative (MWTCEI)with her partners Benue State Aids Control Agency (BenSACA), Medecins Sans Frontiers( MSF), United Nations High Commissioner for Refugee Agency ( UNHCR) et'al collaborated outlined events thus:
Rallies to create awareness of Gender Based Violence.
Media team interview, the general public (Door to Door).
Commemoration of World Aids Day.
Training of Gender Based Human Defenders.
Interactive Section and Distribution of Items to people in IDP Camps. Etc.
On the 5th December, 2022 two IDP Camps visited namely ORTESE and ICHWA to create awareness, interactive section and distribution of items.
These activities are carried out in accordance with an Act VIOLENCE AGAINST PERSONS (PROHIBITION) ACT, 2015. A bill to eliminate violence in private and public life, prohibit all forms of violence against persons and to provide maximum protection and remedies for victims and punishment of offenders and for related matters.

1-day training on Strengthening Sustenance Structures needed to pursue Rights and Abuses against GBT persons in Benue State organized by RURCHEDI held on 3rd December, 2022 at RURCHEDI Office Makurdi. The Executive Director, Make we Talk Community Empowerment Initiative and his Programs Manager were among the facilitators.
