Let’s be honest.

Not every struggle is “village people.”

Sometimes, it’s stress.
Sometimes, it’s anxiety.
Sometimes, it’s deeper than what prayers alone can fix.

Ignoring it doesn’t make you strong.
It just makes you suffer longer.
Let’s talk about it. 👇

There are moments that reminds you why this work matters, and this was one of those moments.

Our session on intersectionality and Mental Health wasn’t just a conversation, it was a safe space. A space where people showed up fully and with empathy, shared honestly and reminded each other that our experiences are shaped by so many layers: identity, society, stigma and survival among others.

At some point, it got emotional and that’s how you know it was real. There’s a lot of issues that have spawned and shaped us as individuals.

And when people feel safe enough to be vulnerable, healing begins.

We are not just raising awareness, we are creating spaces where people feel safe, seen and valued.

CALL FOR REGISTRATION!!!

Mental health doesn’t exist in isolation.
Your gender, health status, finances, and lived experiences all shape how you feel, cope, and survive.

This isn’t just another “talk session.”
It’s a space for real conversations, honest reflection, and voices that are often ignored.

If you have lived experience…
If you care about advocacy…
If you’re ready to engage, not just observe…

We want you in the room.

And don’t keep this to yourself, share with someone whose voice needs to be heard.

This session explores how overlapping identities such as gender, s*xuality, disability, HIV status, and socio-economic realities shape mental health experiences within our communities. We are intentionally creating a space for engaged participants who are willing to reflect, share, and contribute me...

“Mental health problems are spiritual attacks” this is a myth and should be debunked.

Mental health issues are real and they deserve real attention, not silence or stigma.

Not everything is a spiritual attack. Sometimes, it’s stress, trauma, anxiety, or depression and that’s okay to acknowledge. What matters is choosing to seek help and speak up.

You are only as strong as your mental health. Take care of your mind the same way you would your body.

If you’re struggling, don’t keep it to yourself. Talk to someone. Listen with empathy. Healing often begins with one honest conversation.

Mental health issues are real and they deserve attention.

You don’t have to suffer in silence. Speak up, seek help, and check in on someone today.

💙 Listen with empathy. Heal with support.

Previously at the workshop on demand generation & community engagement for Lenacapavir Pre-exposure prophylaxis (LEN PrEP) organized by NASCP, Civil society organizations and networks focused on strategies to promote the uptake of Long-Acting Injectable Lenacapavir (LEN) for HIV pre-exposure prophylaxis (PrEP) in Nigeria.

Sexual and Reproductive Health and Rights (SRHR) myths are widespread misconceptions, cultural taboos, and inaccurate information that prevent individuals, particularly women, youth, and marginalized groups from accessing essential healthcare services. These myths are often fueled by inadequate s*x education, traditional gender norms, and misinformation in digital spaces.
