No Room for Gullibility, Hon. Benedict Akombo Tasked the Order of Keymen
The 2023 Getaway of the Order of Keymen was a force to reckon with as it was blessed with a brand new Patron, Hon Benedict Akombo. The conferment happened at his residence in Abuja, Nigeria's federal capital in the presence of his amiable wife, Mrs. Agatha Akombo. The Order was represented by the Supreme Knight, Sir Emmanuel Ochefu, who led the delegation, Sir Decivir Akombo, the General Secretary, Sir Yohanna Ebe, the Organising Secretary, Sir Fidel Ochefu, Assistant Secretary, Sir Peter Nongo, the Publicity Secretary. Keenly watching to make sure everything went well were Sir Dim Valentine, the immediate past Supreme Knight and Sir Maasuur Demian Deakaa Ph.D, one of the founding members.
Adorned with the Order's regalia, a facecap to go with and a diary, Hon. Akombo praised the Order for finding him worthy and expressed his eagerness to partner with the Order for the purpose of growth and development. He advised all present to imbibe the culture of constructively questioning authorities in order to put them in check. This according to him, is a virtue that is lacking in our present day society.
He also urged the members of the order to be vehicles of positive change in our society and be good examples to the younger generation.
He further promised to serve a wedge of support to the order in other for them to achieve their set goals and objectives.
Responding on behalf of the Order, Sir Emmanuel Ochefu appreciated the brand new Patron for his fatherly words and reiterated the Order's commitment to the virtue of brotherliness which propels us to look out for others hence in tandem with the issue raised by the patron.
It is fascinating to note that with Professor Member George-Genyi as the Matron, Fr Moses Igbabee cssp as the Spiritual Director, Hon. Torhile Uchi as the Grand Patron and now Hon. Akombo as the Patron, the Order has acquired for herself a wealth of knowledge and experience; the very ingredients necessary for greatness.
