HAPPY INDEPENDENCE DAY
Message of Hope

On this auspicious occasion of our nation’s Independence Day, I extend my heartfelt congratulations to all Nigerians at home and in the diaspora. Today, we salute the bravery of our founding fathers whose vision, sacrifice, and determination gave birth to a sovereign nation.

Sixty-four years on, our journey as a people has been marked by trials and triumphs, challenges and victories. Yet, through it all, the Nigerian spirit has remained unbroken — resilient, hopeful, and steadfast in faith.

This celebration is not only a remembrance of our past; it is a renewal of our commitment to unity, peace, and progress. We must hold firm to the belief that our beloved country can and will rise above every obstacle, and that together, we can build a nation where justice, equity, and prosperity are shared by all.

As we hoist our green and white flag today, may it remind us of the boundless possibilities that lie ahead if we remain united in purpose and unwavering in hope. The Nigeria of our dreams is within reach, and each of us has a role to play in shaping it.

I feel deeply honored to be part of today's remarkable event, which serves as a celebration of leadership, unity, and progress and philanthropical deeds.

This moment marks a significant milestone not only for the Edo North Unity Forum, but for all of us who believe in the power of collective action, the strength of unity, and the potential for positive transformation in our communities and beyond. The establishment of the Edo North Unity Forum World-wide Secretariat is a powerful testament to the commitment of our leaders and citizens, who are dedicated to bringing about lasting change that will impact generations to come.
