BAT-3G OSUN STATE CONDEMNS ATTACK ON POLICE BY SUSPECTED POLITICAL THUGS IN NIRA AND KOBO, IKIRE OSUN STATE
The Bola Ahmed Tinubu Good Governance Group (BAT-3G), Osun State Chapter, strongly condemns the recent incident involving suspected political thugs at Nira and Kobo in Ikire, Osun State.
An attack on the Nigeria Police Force constitutes a direct threat to national security. Such acts must be condemned in the strongest terms by every patriotic Nigerian, irrespective of political affiliation.
The Group calls on all political gladiators in Osun State to embrace peace, preach peace, and promote harmony with sincerity. The greatest gift that can be given to the people of Osun State after any election is lasting peace.
While extending our heartfelt sympathy to the affected family, we urge the Nigeria Police Force and all relevant authorities to conduct a thorough and impartial investigation into the incident. We encourage them not to be discouraged in the discharge of their constitutional duties.
