If an individual has personally experienced or witnessed the challenges faced by our people today in Southern Borno, they will not actually allow themselves to be swayed by emotional issues related to either religion or tribal loyalties because the present is the aftermath of such unfortunate decisions. The reality is that we have all suffered the consequences of ineffective governance..... Yet only a handful wanted us to remain in this present predicament, why?
Despite the burdens, suffering, and loss of lives due to hardship, insurgency some people continue to hold onto ideologies that are not only harmful but also counterproductive just to secure their stomach and allow many to waddle in pains. It is essential to reject such destructive beliefs that only serve to hinder progress and destroy the hopes and dreams of many, especially when our leaders have failed to take necessary action.
The cycle of unfulfilled promises, ongoing lies, and complaints persists, yet the evidence of lackluster leadership is undeniable. It is utterly disheartening to see their supposed achievements touted on social media, as it can make one feel disconnected from the reality due to how shameless but feel comfortable in their fabrications, While the people of Southern Borno are twisting in agony of the reality on ground.
Haske-Kudla Satumari journey as a politician did not unfold like a fairy tale, as his passion for serving his people is inherent and was ignited not only when he responded to the call of his people but through his empathy to serve humanity. The people of Southern Borno have recognized Haske Satumari dedication to serving his community and have called on him to take on a leadership role. Despite facing attempts at blackmail to discourage him, has remained steadfast in his commitment to uplifting his people. In 2019 and 2023, the people of Southern Borno showed overwhelming support for Haske, but their votes were allegedly manipulated. Despite this setback, remains determined and is poised to run for Senator again in 2027. His expertise, dedication and positive mindset have made him a force to be reckoned with in Southern Borno.
Is Happening To Us?
As a youth, it is crucial to carefully observe and analyze the consequences of each leadership decision that has led us to where we are today by our leaders. Despite more than two decades passing, the path forward presently is still not clear under this present administration, yet all we hear complaints and excuses from our representatives in the act of defense. The truth is, our representatives cannot offer what they do not have if this is the best they can offer then they are not worthy of our votes. So it is futile to continue pushing them beyond their limitations.
It is time to prioritize what is necessary by setting aside emotional attachments and focusing on electing leaders who possess the necessary qualities of capacity, integrity, empathy, and willingness to enact positive change in Southern Borno.
