What a week!

It has been a productive and inspiring week filled with celebrations for International Women’s Day, impactful activities, strong collaboration, and meaningful community engagement. Through resilience and teamwork, we successfully navigated every task while continuing to advance our mission of service and impact.

To wrap up the week, we had the privilege of hosting the NRC Head Office at Wuro Ardo Community in Fufore LGA, Adamawa State. The visit included engaging with the community leader and monitoring ongoing activities to ensure continued progress and accountability.

Together, we remain committed to strengthening partnerships and delivering meaningful impact in the communities we serve.

ROHI joined UN Women, in partnership with the Federal Ministry of Women Affairs and other partners, to commemorate International Women’s Day under the 2026 theme, “Give to Gain.”

The event brought together distinguished women leaders and stakeholders from across Borno State to reflect on the critical role of women’s leadership, participation, and resilience in building inclusive and sustainable communities. The celebration highlighted the importance of investing in women and girls, promoting their voices in decision-making spaces, and strengthening opportunities that enable them to thrive.

ROHI remains committed to supporting initiatives that advance gender equality, empower women and girls, and contribute to stronger and more resilient communities.
