Dear Partners,

We are pleased to share Center For Advocacy,Transparency & Accountability Initiative - CATAIโ€™s 2025 Annual Report, reflecting a year of scaled humanitarian response and resilience-building across Northeast Nigeria.
In a context marked by protracted conflict and displacement, CATAI reached over 157,762 people directly and 1,600,973 indirectly, delivering integrated interventions across education, protection, livelihoods, WASH, Nutrition, Peacebuilding and governance.

In 2025, our work translated into tangible outcomes. Over 3,200 crisis-affected children accessed safe and inclusive learning opportunities. Thousands of women and children received psychosocial support, case management, and protection services, restoring safety and dignity in high-risk environments.

Through anticipatory and emergency cash assistance, vulnerable households affected by flooding were able to meet essential needs with dignity. At the same time, targeted WASH interventions improved access to safe water, sanitation, and hygiene services in schools and displacement settings, reducing health risks and improving wellbeing.

CATAI continued to operationalize the Humanitarianโ€“Developmentโ€“Peace Nexus, ensuring that immediate response efforts contribute to long-term recovery, system strengthening, and community resilience.

This report highlights not only results, but the collective effort of communities, partners, and frontline teams working in some of the most complex environments.
As needs remain high, sustained partnership and investment in locally led action will be critical to delivering durable impact.

We invite you to explore the full report and continue this important journey with us.
