Earlier today, members of the Borno Youth Charity Foundation attended the Wedding Fatiha of our Zonal Coordinator (Central), Comrade Ali Zakariya, and his beloved wife, Maryam Muhammad Adam.

The event was graced by the presence of the President and Founder of BYCF Mustapha Muhammad Adam, alongside Lawisat Abdullahi, Comr. Musa Sabo, Hadiza Yusuf, Muhammad Ibn Bunu, Fatima Alkali Muhammad, Comr. Yusuf Garba Yusuf, and Zainab Umar Wasili.

We extend our heartfelt congratulations and pray that Almighty Allah blesses their union with enduring love, peace, and prosperity. May their home be filled with barakah and lasting happiness. Ameen.

STATEMENT OF CONDOLENCE ON THE TRAGIC BLASTS IN MAIDUGURI

The Borno Youth Charity Foundation is profoundly saddened by the news of the multiple explosions that rocked our beloved city yesterday, specifically at the Monday Market, Post Office, and the University of Maiduguri Teaching Hospital (UMTH).

Our hearts ache for the families who have lost loved ones in these senseless acts of violence. To those currently fighting for their lives in hospitals, we offer our most fervent prayers for a swift and full recovery.

We stand in total solidarity with the Borno State Government and our traditional leaders as they manage this crisis. As a foundation dedicated to the youth and the future of Borno, we remain committed to supporting our community's resilience.

May the souls of the departed rest in peace, and may those injured find healing. Amen ya hayyu ya qayyum.

PRESS RELEASE

Borno Youth Charity Foundation (BYCF) Commends Son Kowa Association for Supporting Orphans with Sallah Clothes

The Borno Youth Charity Foundation (BYCF) wishes to commend the Son Kowa Association (SKA) for organizing and sponsoring the distribution of Sallah clothes to orphans in the Gonidamgari community.

The event, which took place yesterday, was attended by the President of the Foundation, Mustapha Muhammad Adam, alongside some executive members of BYCF include;
1- Lawisat Muhammad- Ass. Secretary General
2- Muhammad Ibn Bunu - SSA LGA Affairs
3- Mal. Musa Goni - Organising Secretary I
4- Hadiza Yusuf - Ass. Director of Welfare
5- Fatima Alkali Muhammad - Ass. Treasurer

The initiative provided much-needed support and joy to many orphaned children in the community ahead of the Sallah celebration.

Speaking during the distribution, the President of BYCF, Mustapha Muhammad Adam, praised Son Kowa Association for its compassion, generosity, and unwavering commitment to supporting orphans and vulnerable families. He noted that such humanitarian gestures demonstrate the true spirit of community service and solidarity.

He also called on guardians of the beneficiaries to make good use of such opportunities by guiding and nurturing the children to develop good character, discipline, and positive values that will help shape their future.

The Borno Youth Charity Foundation expresses its sincere appreciation to everyone who contributed to the success of this initiative. The Foundation further encourages individuals, youth groups, and community-based organizations to continue supporting orphans and the less privileged, especially during festive periods.

A yau na jagoranci tawagata daga gidauniyar mu mai albarka ta Borno Youth Charity Foundation BYCF domin halartar taron raba kayan Sallah ga yara marayu, wanda Kungiyar Son Kowa Association ta dauki nauyi a unguwar Gonidamgari da ke Karamar Hukumar Jere a Jihar Borno.

A yayin taron rabon kayan, na jinjinawa Kungiyar Son Kowa Association bisa namijin kokari da jajircewarsu na tsawon shekaru wajen hidimtawa al’umma, musamman kula da yara marayu.

Hakazalika, na yi kira ga yaran marayu da su maida hankali wajen tarbiyyarsu da neman ilimi, tare da kaucewa duk wani abu da zai iya jefa su cikin mummunar hanya.

Haka kuma, na gode wa wakilan yaran bisa kokarinsu da kulawar da suke bai wa wadannan yara.

Allah Ya saka da alheri, Ya kuma ci gaba da taimakon mu wajen hidimtawa al’umma.

As the holy month of Ramadan begins, Borno youth charity Foundation extends warm greetings and heartfelt best wishes to Muslim faithful across Nigeria and around the world.

Ramadan is a sacred period of reflection, sacrifice, compassion, and renewed devotion to Almighty Allah. It is a time that reminds us of the values of patience, humility, generosity, and service to humanity — virtues that are essential for building a peaceful, just, and prosperous nation.

This blessed month also calls us to strengthen unity, deepen mutual understanding, and extend support to the less privileged in our communities.

As we welcome the year 2026, the Borno Youth Charity Foundation extends warm New Year wishes to the good people of Borno State and Nigeria at large. We thank Almighty Allah for preserving our lives and granting us the opportunity to witness another year.

This new year comes with renewed hope and determination. As an organization committed to humanitarian service, we call upon government agencies, NGOs, and well-meaning individuals to increase their support for humanitarian efforts in Borno. Thousands are still in need of food, shelter, education, and psychosocial support.

We also reaffirm our unwavering commitment to continue reaching the most vulnerable with compassion, sincerity, and action.

CONDOLENCE MESSAGE ON GAMBORU MOSQUE BLAST

Inna Lillahi Wa Inna Ilaihi Raji’un.

The Borno Youth Charity Foundation (BYCF) extends its deepest condolences to the families of the victims of the tragic bomb explosion that occurred inside Al-Adum Mosque at Gamboru Market in Maiduguri.

We stand in solidarity with the affected families, the Government of Borno State, and the good people of the state during this moment of grief. This heartbreaking incident is not only a loss to the immediate victims but to the entire community.

We also extend our heartfelt prayers to all those who sustained injuries in the tragic Gamboru mosque blast.

May Allah (SWT) grant them complete and swift healing, ease their pain, and strengthen them and their families during this difficult time. May He replace their hardship with relief and protect our communities from future harm. Ameen.

We pray that Allah (SWT) grants eternal rest to the deceased and strength to their families. May peace be fully restored in our dear state.
