The National Children's Day Annual Commemoration.

Borno State Ministry of Women Affairs and Social Development in Collaboration with the Child Protection Area of Responsibility Partners (INGOs/NNGOs)
Held a mega event to celebrate her Children in line with the United Nations resolution to raise awareness of the situation and needs of Children and to promote interventions that will lead to an improvement in their welfare and well-being.
This year's theme was "The State of the Nigerian Children Today: Proper Parenting for Value Reorientation and National Consciousness".

The annual commemoration of the day held on the 7th of June 2023 at The Grand Pinnacle Hotel Conference Hall in Maiduguri had in attendance key stakeholders in the state, students across various schools in the state and also provided an opportunity for children to showcase their talents in various cultural Dances, Poems, Talks and Roundtable discussions to make their desires and aspirations known to the Government for policy formation that will help impact the children positively.
