Throwback to Our 2024 Water Supply Renovation Project!

On 28th February 2024, the Gamboru Old Students Association(GOSA) proudly completed a major project at Gamboru 1 Primary School, focused on renovating the water supply to the male and female toilets and the overhead tank serving the school compound.

This project was inspired by our commitment to give back to the school that shaped us. We recognized that access to clean water is essential for the health and comfort of students and staff alike. Our alumni team worked tirelessly to repair and upgrade the plumbing, ensure proper water flow, and maintain the overhead tank system, creating a lasting positive impact on the school community.

The renovation has made a significant difference: students now enjoy cleaner and more reliable water facilities, and the school environment has improved overall. It’s incredibly rewarding to see the fruits of our efforts continue to benefit future generations.

We want to thank all members of the Class of 2013 and other alumni who contributed their time, skills, and resources to make this project a success. Your dedication demonstrates the strength of our alumni community and our commitment to giving back.

Gamboru Old Students Association (GOSA) held a meeting yesterday.

The purpose of the meeting was to discuss key matters concerning the growth and unity of the association.

The first agenda focused on the importance of unity among members. It was emphasized that with unity, the association can grow stronger and achieve its collective objectives. Members were encouraged to continue supporting one another and to work together toward the common good of the association.

The officials proposed a change in the meeting schedule from monthly to once every two weeks meetings. This adjustment aims to enhance communication, strengthen participation, and accelerate progress in achieving the association’s goals. The proposal was well received and unanimously accepted by the members.

Members expressed their gratitude and appreciation to the association’s leadership for their dedication, transparency, and consistent efforts in driving the organization forward. The atmosphere of the meeting reflected joy, unity, and mutual respect among all attendees.

Finally, prayers were affered, asking Almighty Allah to guide, protect, and the association, and grant to continued unity and success to all it's members.

Gamboru 1 old student Association was conducted General meeting Today in Gamboru 1 primary school
The purpose of the meeting is to collaborate with old Boys who was not the members of the Association to come and join to rebuild together and achieve the aim and objective.

The New members they were loud in voice of great intention to accepted the objective of the co-operation and to be one of good members of that Association further more they were express they're gratitude regarding to inviting them to come and join that good deed at aim of helping orphan and privilege, supporting the education metter and share the true networking among the New members.

The meeting place were gether with Chairman of Gamboru youths Development Association, vice Headmistress of Gamboru 1 primary school and among other, they have given more suggest to the members about they're dedication supporting and remarkable career. Have to be Clement whatever any metter or issues are rise.

In behalf of all members of this association (GOSA) Chairman excited his special thanks to the Chairman of Gamboru youths Development Association for his donation of 20 uniforms boys and girls for the Association.

And also the chairman was really appreciated to see the large numbers of new faces, his highly well coming them as a new members of that Gamboru 1 old student Association

Gamboru Old Students Association (GOSA) – Weekly Meeting Update

Dear Members and Friends of GOSA,

We are pleased to share that today, [18/05/2025], the Gamboru Old Students Association held a constructive and impactful meeting aimed at strengthening the bond among members and advancing the progress of our beloved association.

During the meeting, members engaged in meaningful discussions focused on how we can collectively move the association forward. A key highlight was the unanimous agreement to establish a financial support system where members will contribute a fixed amount regularly. This fund will serve as a mutual support platform—to assist any member in times of need, and to finance initiatives that benefit the association and its members.

This important step reflects our shared values of unity, compassion, and commitment to each other’s well-being. It is also a reminder that GOSA is more than an association—it is a family.

To those who couldn’t attend, we missed your presence and hope you’ll join us in the next meeting. Everyone’s input and participation are vital to our success.

Gamboru 1 Old Student Association Hold Close Door Meeting With MMC Vice-Chairman Hon. Baba Shehu Abdulganiu on May 7 2025.

The purpose of the meeting is about security issue in Gamboru 1 primary school after that meeting the Vice-chairman was paid visited the school today to see what actually going in that school, furthermore the Vice-chairman was promised to tackle that issue that having in the school, He said that insecurity issue within the school sector will bring obstacles of education within the community, especially in part of school property, throwing of drugs wast inside the classes and other related issues.

During the visitation time he was saw so many problem in the school classes. Damages of well with many cracks, broken of windows and doors and so on.
Vice-chairman said he will reform all what damages in that school.

GOSA was special thanks to Vice-Chairman for his support what ever the Association need from.

Gamboru 1 Old Student Association(GOSA) was successfully distribution of of clothes, shoes and other materials to orphan's and less privilege for celebrate Eid Mubarak.

The charity initiative was donated items to 30 boy's and 18 girls in Gamboru 1 primary school.

The even were gather Representative of MMC Vice-Chairman Alhaji Mustapha Bukar and Baba Isa, SBMC chairman, PTA chairman, Head of school among others. The Association was appropriated them for their contributing and commitment to this charity.

The GOSA Chairman was require school security from the vice-chairman during the charity program in purpose of tackling the insecurity matter in the school. And also the Association was special thanks to MMC vice-chairman for his dedication, commitment and fully support of this Association.

The GOSA goals is the continue process, especially in part of improving education system, giving humanitarian activities to orphan's and less privilege and other related matter.

Gamboru 1 old student Association was paid visitation of school's, within Gamboru community for purpose of commiserating of flooded which is happened last six months back.

The school's visitation include Gamboru 1, Budum and Alhajiri primary schools. during the visitation the special committee of Association was asked the school heads for which kind of challenges that school facing after flood in purpose of contributing to tackle the issue.

All the visited school's was really appreciated for our efforts and dedication. the Association was emphasize that have further contribution to all school's.

GOSA have intention to support the education sector within the community especially those that have been orphan's and less privilege.

Our mission to support education and other important thing within the community.
