Tema Thrive Humanitarian Organization (TTHO) paid a courtesy/planning visit to the office of Peace Restoration and Integral Global Development Initiative (PRIDE) as part of preparations for the upcoming International Youth Day activity.

The meeting created an opportunity to discuss collaboration, shared responsibilities, youth participation, inclusion, and the proposed sports and games activities designed to bring young people together in the spirit of unity, recreation, and meaningful engagement.

At TTHO, we believe that strong partnerships create stronger impact. Working with organizations that share the same passion for youth development, inclusion, and community well-being helps us build activities that are more participatory, meaningful, and sustainable.

We appreciate PRIDE Initiative for the warm reception and commitment toward making the upcoming Youth Day activity impactful.

Together, we continue to promote youth inclusion, partnership, and community-centered action.

Tema Thrive Humanitarian Organization was duly represented in the climate response activity organized in commemoration of World Environment Day 2026.

With the message “Plant a Tree, Grow a Future,” the event served as a reminder that climate action begins with simple but intentional steps that protect our environment, strengthen communities, and secure a healthier future for generations to come.

At TTHO, we believe that humanitarian action and climate response are connected. Vulnerable communities are often the most affected by climate change, environmental degradation, flooding, heat, and loss of livelihoods. This is why we remain committed to supporting initiatives that promote environmental protection, community resilience, and sustainable development.

As part of our ongoing community sensitization and awareness campaign, Tema Thrive Humanitarian Organization extended its engagement to Borno State Special School, Moduganari.

The visit was guided by the principle: “Nothing About Us Without Us.” For us at TTHO, inclusion means ensuring that everyone, including persons with disabilities, children, and vulnerable groups, are not left out of important community awareness efforts.

The sensitization created an opportunity to engage, inform, and promote awareness in a way that recognizes the dignity, voice, and participation of all.

During the engagement, our team also interacted with frontline health workers and gained further insight into some of the pressing health needs within the community, including recurring malaria-related concerns and gaps that continue to affect access to timely basic healthcare support. These realities remind us that community awareness must go hand in hand with stronger collaboration, resource mobilization, and partnership-driven support for vulnerable populations.

At TTHO, inclusion is at the core of our work. Community well-being can only be achieved when every group is reached, every voice is valued, and no one is left behind.

We remain open to working with partners, stakeholders, and institutions who share our commitment to improving community health, strengthening prevention efforts, and supporting facilities that serve vulnerable groups.

Day Two: Strengthening Cholera Prevention Awareness

As cholera concerns continued to affect communities across parts of Borno State, Tema Thrive Humanitarian Organization continued its sensitization and awareness campaign in Jidari, Polo Jidari Ward.

The second day of the campaign focused on deepening community understanding of cholera prevention, promoting hygiene and sanitation practices, and encouraging early action whenever symptoms or suspected cases are noticed.

Through the support of IRC community mobilizers and local volunteers, TTHO engaged residents with lifesaving information aimed at protecting households and reducing community-level risks.

For us, people’s well-being is not just a priority; it is the reason we serve. We remain committed to working with partners and communities to promote health, dignity, and resilience.

Day One: Cholera Awareness and Community Sensitization Campaign

During the period when cholera cases were intensifying across parts of Borno State, Tema Thrive Humanitarian Organization stepped out to support community awareness and prevention efforts in Jidari, Polo Jidari Ward.

In partnership with IRC community mobilizers community and dedicated local volunteers, TTHO carried out a cholera sensitization and awareness campaign to educate community members on prevention, hygiene practices, early reporting, and the need to protect families and vulnerable groups.

At TTHO, community well-being remains at the center of our work. We believe that the right information, shared at the right time, can help save lives and reduce the spread of disease.

Our commitment is simple: putting people first, strengthening awareness, and supporting safer and healthier communities.
