World Malaria Day 2026: Re-energize the Fight, End Malaria For Good
Today, April 25, 2026, we join the global community to mark World Malaria Day.
Malaria is still a major threat in Nigeria, especially for children under 5 and pregnant women. But it remains preventable and treatable. At Bloomhope Foundation, we believe no child should die from a mosquito bite.
Our Commitment:
Awareness: Educating communities on prevention - sleeping under insecticide-treated nets, environmental sanitation, and seeking care within 24 hours of fever.
Access: Supporting vulnerable households with timely testing and life-saving ACTs.
Action: Strengthening linkages with health facilities and Stabilization Centres to protect malnourished children from severe malaria.
This World Malaria Day, the call is clear: Malaria ends with us. We urge governments, donors, and communities to invest, innovate, and implement.
