*TCCI's Emergency Food Relief Project to fight Malnutrition among children

In partnership with IHVN, TCCI conducted healthy food demonstrations across various communities, training over 100 Caregivers (CG). The training focused on preparing balanced meals, essential for household members, particularly growing children, to avoid malnutrition among our growing children

The training focuses on:
1. Understanding the six major classes of food.
2. Harnessing natural food sources within communities.
3. Avoiding processed foods for better health.
4. Proper nutrition for children's growth and development.
5. Effective food storage methods to prevent harm.

CG took turns demonstrating their newfound knowledge, utilizing provided food items. The engaging and interactive sessions ensured participants grasped the essential concepts of balanced meal.

*Empowering Young Minds through Education*

Education is the cornerstone of growth and success. To unlock the full potential of our children, they need a solid foundation, and that starts with access to quality education.

The IHVN ASPIRE project recognizes the importance of education support as a crucial indicator of a child's future success. In partnership with TCCI, we're proud to have made a positive impact on the lives of over 180 school children at Durumi Primary School in FCT. We were able to

- Sponsored school fees for a whole session for 180 pupils, bringing hope and joy to children and their caregivers.
- we carry out quarterly school monitoring to ensure:
- Conducive learning environments
- Regular school attendance
Excellent academic performance
- Participation in extracurricular activities
- Availability of essential learning materials

*Empowering Young Minds: TCCI DREAMS Club Graduation*

The TCCI DREAMS Club celebrated a milestone achievement at Chief's Palace, Kado-Kuchi, as 24 adolescents graduated from the program. The vibrant ceremony featured:

- Engaging drama performances
- Cultural dance
- Awards recognizing exceptional participation and certificate presentation.
DREAMS club is an initiative of TCCI under IHVN's ASPIRE Project, DREAMS Club is an in-school program empowering adolescent girls with critical life skills, focusing on:
- Mental health
- Sexual reproductive health (SRH)
- Personal care and development

It also Equipping adolescents with tools to:
- Make informed decisions
- Mentor peers
- Prevent HIV
- Promote self-esteem

TCCI and IHVN, supported by USAID and CDC, are fostering a generation of informed, confident young women, better equipped to navigate life challenges and contribute positively to their communities.
The aim of the club is to enhance overall well-being, empowering healthier choices, and cultivating role models among peers.

"Empowering Women, Enhancing Communities!

Total Childcare Initiative (TCCI), in partnership with IHVN, has been using the Household Economic Strengthening (HES) platform to support women in various communities.

Through this initiative, women received financial tokens in cash to boost their businesses and improve their standard of living.

TCCI and IHVN are committed to helping women acquire skills and increase productivity, ultimately enhancing their economic well-being.
