Birthday Celebration: Ramat Molo Aliyu Inspires Pupils, Gives Back to Alma Mater through Ramat Molo Foundation
Okengwe — It was a day filled with emotion, inspiration, and generosity as Ramat Molo Aliyu celebrated her birthday with a heartfelt visit to her former school, Seifudeen Primary School, where she encouraged pupils to dream big and remain committed to their education.
Speaking at the event, Ramat reflected on her journey, describing the school as the foundation upon which her life was built. She noted that returning to the institution rekindled memories of her early days as a pupil—moments filled with hope, dreams, and curiosity about the future. She emphasised that no matter how far one goes in life, it is important never to forget one’s roots.
Addressing the pupils, she urged them not to allow their present circumstances to limit their future. She stressed the importance of hard work, discipline, and faith in God, encouraging them to respect their teachers, take their studies seriously, and remain focused. According to her, education remains a vital tool for success and personal development.
Ramat also expressed deep appreciation to the teachers for their dedication and sacrifices in shaping young minds, offering prayers for God’s continued strength and reward upon them. In his remarks, the Head Teacher, Mr. Shaibu Dauda, commended her for remembering her roots and giving back to the community, while also praising her father, Alhaji Onumoko Aliyu, for raising a daughter worthy of emulation.
The event attracted political leaders, religious figures, and key community stakeholders, adding significance to the celebration. The outreach extended beyond Seifudeen Primary School to include LGEA School, Otoyi–Eba; LGEA School, Otoyi–Uvete; and LGEA School, Ukonovo, ensuring that a wider group of pupils benefited from her generous initiative.
As part of the birthday outreach, Ramat donated school bags and notebooks to pupils across the schools and sponsored a merriment session for both children and teachers, creating a joyful and memorable atmosphere.
The celebration not only marked a personal milestone but also served as a powerful source of inspiration, reinforcing hope, perseverance, and the enduring value of education.
