The story so far. We registered ghf late in the year 2010 and carried out the first edition of the free surgeries in collaboration with ARSPON: Association rural surgical practitioners of Nigeria. The surgeries were absolutely free to access by all patients. The entire cost of the workshop was borne by ghf. All the cases handled during this first workshop was without mortality recorded.

How I became involved in the ministry.

The vision then was to impact my immediate environment especially the restive youths and the young people within my locality, Epe. We went round schools and colleges with the message that truancy, substance abuse, promiscuity, cultism and other vices needed to be give-up.
However, this little idea that we started then, ultimately gave birth to a bigger project, the Graceland hernia foundation. Through the foundation, we were able to organised several surgery workshops, in collaboration with other sister organisations and donor agencies. Overtime, more than 5000 free surgeries were successfully carried out with zero mortality.
