In honour of a legacy that continues to inspire. 🕊️🌿

At yesterday’s coastal cleanup, we took a moment to honour the memory of our Eco Ambassador, Alex Ekubo, who was with us during our last MBE cleanup.

A tribute banner was placed for members of the community, volunteers, and partners to sign and leave personal messages in his honour. Every signature, every word, and every memory became a small reminder of the impact he had on the people and causes he stood with.

Alex showed up for the environment, for community, and for the work we do to protect our natural spaces. Yesterday, we carried that memory forward.

Your presence may be missed, but your legacy lives on. 🕊️💚

Today, we came together at Maiyegun Beach to mark International Coastal Cleanup Day 2026 — not just to clean a beach, but to remind ourselves that protecting our coast is a shared responsibility.
