TOPIC: LOVE GOD ABOVE ALL.

TEXT:: MATTHEW 22:36-38.

WORD FOR THE DAY!
Beloved, if you love God, you will make Him your first priority more than anyone and anything.

KEY VERSE:
Master, which is the great commandment in the law? Jesus said unto him, Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind. This is the first and great commandment.

Most believers show their love and commitment to God by serving in the ministry or the church. This is a good thing, but when the things we do for God become our focus instead of His presence, obedience, and personal relationship with Him, we fail to truly show that we love Him. The opening scriptures tell us that we should love God with all our heart, soul, and mind. And as the first and greatest commandments, it means God must be our priority; it is Him Whom we so desire. And the rest, such as the things we do for Him, is our secondary priority.

Beloved, you must instill in your heart, soul, and mind that you are to seek God first above anyone and anything else in this world. Loving God must be your focus; not your ministry, your services, and the things that you can do. Fix your eyes on Jesus, seek Him and His Word first in all things, and obey His commandments. This is how you can truly show your love for Him.

Abba Father, You are my one thing! Your presence and Your Word are my highest priorities, more than anyone and anything. May Your perfect will be done in my life in Jesus’ name. Amen.

TOPIC: DON'T ALLOW FEAR IN YOUR LIFE!

TEXT: PSALMS 46:1-3

WORD FOR THE DAY!
Beloved, no matter the challenges around you make God your REFUGE AND STRENGTH

KEY VERSE: Psalms 46:1-3 (KJV). God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble. Therefore will not we fear, though the earth be removed, and though the mountains be carried into the midst of the sea; Though the waters thereof roar and be troubled, though the mountains shake with the swelling thereof. Selah.

The born again Christian should not allow fear in his/her life. The only fear we are to entertain is the godly fear of God. Fear causes anxiety, timidity, weakness, disease/Sicknesses, laziness, reluctance, and can even kill. The opening Scripture says we should not fear even if the earth is removed, the mountains are relocated into the sea, the waters become upset and trouble, and though the mountains shake and quake.

Why must we not fear in the midst of these terrible natural disasters? The reason is that God is our refuge and strength; He is a very present help in trouble. Hallelujah! How wonderful to hear that God is the creator of these natural elements and therefore has solutions to their boisterousness. He knows how to protect us from the opposing elements of life so that we can live a life of peace and prosperity. Praise the Lord! Dear beloved, are you still entertaining fear in your life? It is time to say no to fear!

PROPHETIC DECLARATION
In this month of August, May the Lord keep you, protect and provide for you and your loved ones in Jesus Amen.
HAPPY NEW MONTH BELOVED!!!!!!!!

Dear God, thank You for dealing with every form of fear in my life. Now I walk in faith and in the knowledge that You are in control of everything in my life. Amen.

TOPIC: BE ALIGNED WITH HEAVEN'S PERSPECTIVES

TEXT: ISAIAH 55:8-9

WORD FOR THE DAY!
Beloved, trust God in everything for He is always walking behind scene for our good.

KEY VERSE: Isaiah 55:8-9 (KJV) For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways, saith the LORD. For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways, and my thoughts than your thoughts.

We sometimes struggle to trust in God’s plans for us because He works differently than we do. Sometimes, what seems like a failing hope is actually God working behind the scenes for our good, and most of the time we don’t always see the things He does. That is why we are commanded not to lean on our own understanding of things but to always trust in the Lord with all our hearts.

Beloved, when God does things for us, it will, initially, always be beyond our understanding, for His ways and thoughts are higher! But when you surrender everything and trust in all He does in every season of your life, He will show you and give you understanding in the spirit realm. Have faith, beloved, that God’s plans for you are always the best!

Abba Father, thank You, for I can fully trust in Your plans even when I don’t understand them. I surrender to You all my hopes and disappointments, for I know that You can work all things for my good. Thank You for fulfilling Your promises in my life in Jesus’ name. Amen.

TOPIC: PRAYING ACCORDING TO HIS WILL

_
TEXT: 1 John 5:14-15 And this is the confidence that we have in him, that, if we ask any thing according to his will, he heareth us:
And if we know that he hear us, whatsoever we ask, we know that we have the petitions that we desired of him.

WORD FOR THE DAY!
Beloved, knowing God's word, equals knowing God's will concerning us.

KEY VERSE: 1 John 5:14 (KJV) And this is the confidence that we have in him, that, if we ask any thing according to his will, he heareth us:

Do you wonder why some of your prayers are taking a long time to get answered by God? Do you sometimes want to give up on these prayers and move on? We know that God’s timing is always perfect, but why is it that some prayers take so long to be acknowledged?

Beloved, the opening scripture says that if you pray according to His will, you can be confident that He hears you! Some prayers may take extra time but don’t give up praying. Pray without ceasing instead and put your faith and hope in Christ Jesus!

Abba Father, thank You for hearing my prayers. You teach me Your will through Your Word, and I pray according to what pleases You. I am confident that You are moving upon my prayer requests, and I receive my answered prayers, in Jesus’ name. Amen.

TOPIC: WALK CIRCUMSPECTLY

TEXT: Ephesians 5:14-17

WORD FOR THE DAY!
Beloved, wisdom will make you to understand the time and season for everything, and what to do at every given time.

KEY VERSE: Ephesians 5:15-17 (KJV) See then that ye walk circumspectly, not as fools, but as wise, Redeeming the time, because the days are evil. Wherefore be ye not unwise, but understanding what the will of the Lord is.

Yes, it is good to walk with wisdom as a child of God, because we cannot afford to be fools. Foolish people have no value for time: they are not time conscience. Time waits for no man; God is the creator of time and we must honour Him by using time judiciously. The will of God is for an appointed time, hence be discerning to know the times and seasons so that you can fulfill them before you are taking out of the way by evil or lose your value in life, because your purpose for life has been assigned to someone else. The enemy and his cohorts of darkness have been given an appointed time to do their work so that they can be finally judged, hence they are working with all zealousness because their time will soon be over. Therefore, beware and walk with the wisdom of God so that you can identify the enemies’ mode of operations and overcome them. Hallelujah! Dear beloved, do you know the times and seasons in which we are?

Heavenly Father, help me to discern the times and seasons I am in right now, and also help me to know how to navigate and overcome in Jesus name. Amen.

TOPIC: SEEDS OF FAITH

TEXT: Matthew 17:19-21 Then came the disciples to Jesus apart, and said, Why could not we cast him out?
And Jesus said unto them, Because of your unbelief: for verily I say unto you, If ye have faith as a grain of mustard seed, ye shall say unto this mountain, Remove hence to yonder place; and it shall remove; and nothing shall be impossible unto you.
Howbeit this kind goeth not out but by prayer and fasting.

WORD FOR THE DAY!
Beloved, no matter the mountain in your life, sow SEEDS of FAITH into it and the mountain will give way.

KEY VERSE: Matthew 17:20 (KJV) And Jesus said unto them, Because of your unbelief: for verily I say unto you, If ye have faith as a grain of mustard seed, ye shall say unto this mountain, Remove hence to yonder place; and it shall remove; and nothing shall be impossible unto you.

When we plant a seed, it is God who changes the nature of the seed that will one day become a plant and then become a tree.

Those changes cannot be stopped by anything as it is bound to sprout and grow that not even the mountains can stop a seed from moving upward.

Beloved, Jesus Christ said that our faith is like a seed. When we release the seed of faith in our lives unto God, there will be supernatural changes that cannot be stopped! And what can be the mountain in your life? Perhaps it is a sickness; a wounded relationship; broken family, etc.

If you plant seeds of faith in those areas, through fasting and prayer, Jesus Christ said that the mountains in your life will be moved by your faith and nothing shall be impossible! Be wise!

Lord God, thank You for teaching me how to sow seeds of faith that can move mountains of life! Thank You for growing my faith seed supernaturally and I shall see its results. You are faithful to Your Word and I trust in You with my life in Jesus’ name. Amen.

TOPIC: LEAVE A GOOD LEGACY BEHIND!

TEXT: 1 SAMUEL 7:12–17

WORD FOR THE DAY!
Beloved, leave a good legacy for your family, church and the society at large.

KEY VERSE: 1 Samuel 7:12 Then Samuel took a stone, and set it between Mizpeh and Shen, and called the name of it Ebenezer, saying, Hitherto hath the Lord helped us.

History is very important. It serves as a reminder to the coming generation of what has been left behind by the preceding generation (Judges 6:12–13). If what the preceding generation left behind is good, it helps the coming generation to conduct life well so that they can leave an even better legacy behind.

The prophet Samuel set a stone between Mizpeh and Shen and called it Ebenezer to signify the help the men of Israel received from God. This stone would become a historical stone or symbol to remind all Israel, including the coming generation, of the goodness of God.

Dear beloved, this should be our attitude as children of God; let us leave a good legacy behind by setting a landmark so that the coming generation will see our good work and build upon it (1 Corinthians 3:11–13). If we do this, our families, church, society, and the nation as a whole will see continual progress. God bless you!

My Father, please lead and guide me to live my life such that I also leave a good legacy for my family, the church, society, and the nation. Amen!
