Yesterday, Inspire And Impact Africa - IIA in collaboration with Teen Making Impact -TMI , commemorated Teenagers’ Day in Langtang with a powerful awareness walk and campaign.

We took to the streets not just to celebrate teenagers, but to stand up for their future.

This campaign was a bold call against the societal ills threatening the lives and destinies of young people such as drug abuse, internet fraud, h°°k-up culture, alcoholism, and other destructive behaviors.

Through our voices, presence, and engagement, we reminded our community that these challenges are real, but they are not unbeatable.

More importantly, it was a movement to amplify a powerful message:

Young people matter. Teenagers matter. And with the right guidance, values, and opportunities, they can rise, lead, and create meaningful impact.

Langtang witnessed more than just a walk. It witnessed a generation choosing purpose over pressure, impact over influence, and growth over destruction.

At Inspire and Impact Africa, we remain committed to equipping young people with the mindset, skills, and support they need to thrive and lead in today’s world.

The future is not far away. It is in our teenagers. And when they are empowered, the world becomes a better place.

Join Inspire and Impact Africa (IIA) on 21st March 2026 for the Teen’s Day Walk and Awareness Campaign.

This awareness walk is aimed at addressing critical issues affecting young people today such as drug abuse, alcoholism, child trafficking, unwanted pregnancy, peer pressure, mental health challenges, lack of mentorship, and lack of purpose.
Through this campaign, we are saying no to drugs, child trafficking, and unwanted pregnancy, and yes to a purposeful future for young people.
As we walk together, we send a strong message to the community that young people matter and that investing in teenagers is investing in the future.

WHY THE TEENAGERS’ DAY AWARENESS WALK MATTERS.

The Teenagers’ Day Celebration and Awareness Walk is more than just an event. It is a movement. It is a platform where young people come together to raise their voices, stand for positive change, and show the world that teenagers matter.

This walk creates awareness about key issues affecting young people today such as mental health, peer pressure, drug abuse, fraud, child trafficking (Ilele).

When young people walk together, they send a strong message to the community that investing in teenagers is investing in the future.
It is also a powerful reminder that young people are not just leaders of tomorrow but leaders in the making today.
